Reckon we will hear some good news shortly. Onwards and upwards...for the good ship "Plutus".

Definitely two companies awarded contracts . Balance and valence are Rockpool funded. Maybe more but I am not familiar with all the names of Rockpool companies

Britain secured backup electricity capacity for 2020/21 within a 20 to 25 pounds per kilowatt (kW)/year range.

The previous two auctions, held in 2014 and 2015, cleared at 19.4 pounds and 18 pounds/kW per year respectively.

Presumably, if this is true, then Plutus should be reasonably pleased with an increase from £18 to at least £20 per kilowatt/year, an 11% increase on last year's auction price.

Lets hope so DCC but the pattern has been large sells later in the afternoon to contra the buys. Almost disapointed actually as I had hoped to be able to buy in quantity at circa 2.20.

Leaks or no leaks, this one is definitely not holed below the waterline...!! I agree with savvy that action again is about to commence as the good ship Plutus ploughs ahead at full steam to the start of 2017. The market is currently offering it as a gift on a plate at these low prices. Plus the free float is smaller than people are imagining, and on quite low turnover of shares this will move sharply upwards again. It was marched up to 3 pence on quite low volume. Some of the big buyers since 9th November have sticky fingers and have no intention of parting with their shares; whether this is the start of a planned accumulation by some institution(s) remains to be seen. Traders will find they have to get back in much higher, if they want to get on board for the next leg of the journey. Tough luck!

I reckon this drop is totally artificial. Price will rocket back up to 3p and above too quickly for the day traders to get back in. I don't think we will hear anything until Friday earliest re capacity auctions and then only unofficial

bishop, I might be mistaken but I thought it was over 3 days and then confirmation from NG ?

Constant seller drip feeding irregular chunks. The story has not changed, got better in fact. With a reasonably large free float one would expect some churn after a large rise. Once the chart broke down through 2.5p people were looking at TA signals rather than focusing on the fundamentals. More news can't be far away now, capacity auctions yesterday so lets see what that brings.

430k @ 2.27. This is a seller desperate to offload with unfortunate consequence of trashing the share price for the rest of us. If this was a bargain at 3p its a steal now.

Does anyone have a number for the amount of free float shares in PPG?...i.e.not held by directors and PRS.

Exactly. The guys running Plutus are extremely smart and ahead of the game

Nice find. Yes, the rule changes have always been a possible blip on the horizon but this is a positive:

"But changes to the way the Grid pays small power plants are not expected to apply to those that secured consent in previous auctions."

Perhaps PPG's plans to move into cleaner ways of generating will be a plus moving forward too?

as per last year journalists will jump on the dirty diesel bandwagon ignoring the facts of a gap in the energy market. Look at the photo. It is on an industrial site. Photo of disgruntled residents is so easy to manufacture. 200 hours is the legal maximum they can be operated for. In the winter that means over 25 weeks operating an average of 8 hours per week and it is likely to be much less. On a side note it is interesting to see that the residents say it has been operating several times a week. Now that is the good news buried in the article!! £15k an hour. Oh it still looks a fantastic investment

We can only rely on thir previous record DCC...which has been pretty good up to now. These guys, just like their competitors, know the parameters by which they must make their pitches so there must be an element of luck but a great deal of good judgement needed....but that also applies the competition. I believe we have a good team representing our corner.

So, despite the relentless selling by (probably) PRS, the share price is holding up remarkably well. Being a little bit selfish I do wish it would dip a little bit more so that I could reduce my average further. Should have gone to Specsavers as I would have watched previous postings more carefuly and bought in much cheaper but very well done to those who had better vision than I.
