04/5/2006 07:09 | SWalker -- SWalker - 3 May'06 - 17:01 - 45 of 45 Be interesting to see if they do a follow up on the rumour - correcting it for the facts that is ! -------------- Well, it certainly looks as though some news is getting out somewhere, even if it's slightly muddled. An agreement on some concession acreage somewhere, perhaps? It would be nice to have a confirmation before the AGM. That should keepthings moving in the right direction. R3 | rockwood3

03/5/2006 09:11 | SWalker Agree | me me
03/5/2006 09:07 | Precisely me me. The Express has got its rumour wrong or is reporting a rumour that is wrong. If the paper had bothered to check, it woudl have found that PPE doesnt have any Tunisian assets and therefore couldnt have any oil find. What the paper should have perhaps reported is that rumours of a Tunisian deal (to bring in assets) I should think. FWIW, I do think that there is a leak of some sort just that the paper got it wrong. Finally we will see some assets injected and PPE begin to grow. Whether that be Tunisia, UK, Peru or elsewhere in Africa. That is why I think that the rumour is probably right (Tunisian assets) but wrong in other respects(obviously no oil find - though there could always be the chance that the deal involves assets that have a find on it). | swalker
03/5/2006 08:49 | SWalker the point i think he is making is if they don't have an asset then how can they have a large oil find. | me me
03/5/2006 08:39 | #Err thanks for that Nikesh - hence my post above. The company has no assets at the moment. The emphasis being on the at the moment. | swalker
03/5/2006 08:28 | THOUGHT ID LET YOU KNOW THAT RUMOUR IS BULL SAVE YOUR MONEY THE COMPANY DOESNT HAVE AN ASSET IN TUNISIA- JUST CALLED THEM | nikesh2
03/5/2006 08:25 | Offshore Tunisia would be a very nice move. | papalpower
03/5/2006 08:13 | Laugh of it is of course, that PPE doesnt ahve any acreage yet - thats what weve all been waiting for. I assume the Express rumour relatres to a deal in or (more likely) offshore Tunisia. | swalker
03/5/2006 08:07 | If its big. then PPE should be rockting up from here. | papalpower
03/5/2006 08:05 | Ah, I wondered what had brought about the rash of buys and the mark up early doors. | swalker

11/4/2006 16:03 | Kim, Looking around it seems as if PPE has no unique technology. There are a number of patents and the majors are already using it.An advance on CSEM has been announced by an Edinburgh company (patents pending) -- MTEM.for an update - www.oilonline.com/ne PPE appear to be only worth looking at when one can evaluate their future licences. Serratia | serratia
11/4/2006 13:58 | serratia, They are supposed to ben oil company not a service provider. They do not offer CSEM services they plan to use them to find oil. Although they have no blocks or licences on which to do this as yet. Not sure I understand the business model as CSEM services are available to everyone in this sector.??? Kim | kim_clay
10/4/2006 21:34 | Kim, I've been keeping an eye on this one since the flotation.Do you know if any exploration company has hired their services? I'm interested to know if the technology works as well as they say. | serratia
10/4/2006 15:38 | Just in case you thought they hadn't been doing anything !! Not exactly Bloomberg or CNBC, and I hate to think what they paid for it. (yup, I know the what the link looks like!, its apparently an outfit called Business Intelligence TV) Follow the menu, industry channels, until you find Plectrum (The only one on there!) Site is usually very slow but if you are persistant it will eventually work. Kim | kim_clay
