14/9/2007 06:49 | resolution passed, but will be interesting to see what proportion of existing shares will be classified as redeemable and bear 10% interest. probably all of them! | ibarty
13/9/2007 15:17 | well all these RNS over the last few days look very dodgy to me. Big switch in shareholding today and you can guarantee that they will be marked vote for and redeem following the change in terms marked yesterday. That will warrant holders with something of very dubious value...... | ibarty
13/9/2007 13:22 | Boadicea I did the same thing, but the total cost of the deal worked out at .328p. Mind you may lose it all today if resolution is not passed. | ibarty
06/9/2007 10:28 | I got a quote on the warrants at US$0.65 which appeared to convert to 32.5p. However the sterling price actually worked out to be about 37p - a 15% premium for conversion. Can anyone (kenmitch?) give me any background on this or how to avoid it? Could I open a US$ account to charge it to and would that be economic on my small deals?. | boadicea

27/11/2006 12:15 | EGM Result RNS Number:7436M Platinum Diversified Mining Inc. 27 November 2006 Platinum Diversified Mining Inc (The "Company") EGM Result The EGM relating to the proposed acquisition of Nord Resources Inc. was convened and held today at 10am. Due to lack of clarity over the delivery of proxies and the completion thereof it was agreed by the meeting to adjourn until 5pm (UK time) on Thursday 30 November 2006. This should allow the Company sufficient time to clarify the position on voting and the delivery of proxies to enable all shareholders to achieve their intended objectives. 27 November 2006 Pelham Public Relations Archie Berens Tel: +44 (0)20 7743 6679 Mobile: +44 (0)7802 442486 Email: archie.berens@pelham KBC Peel Hunt Matt Goode Tel: +44 (0)20 7418 8811 Email: matt.goode@kbcpeelhu This information is provided by RNS The company news service from the London Stock Exchange | groenstraat19

08/7/2002 08:59 | hi there, I suppose it was tabloid tv at its best so not very prowd of it!. Basically my brokers saw I was one of the wfew who was making money each day last week. They asked would I be interested in explaining on bbc, in a week when the markets were tanking..it was possible to actually make some money in this environment. I said ok, would be happy to explain the concept of shorting the market and how individuals can benefit from this etc. The interview was about 20 mins including questions on the morals and ethics of shorting etc. The only question I asked the reporter not to ask me , how much I made each day last week. Of course he bloody kept asking me this and this is where the stupid comment on earning in a day (last week only!) what I earned in a month in my previous career (McDonalds hamburger mechanic), I wouldn't give him a number. The TV slot also showed me going thru' an azn trade and ignored most of the rest of the interview. In fairness he did warn me at the end that because of unpredictability of business news slot my bit might be squeezed (or should I say SHortened!) Anyway went to Budapest with a few Eriksson friends and had a great weekend, out of all my shorts on Thursday although I think I'll be opening up the shop soon again hope this explains! pdm | pdm
06/7/2002 00:35 | Well... It wouldn't have been a 'long' slot would it... | henrysugar
05/7/2002 14:05 | Bet it was the soft brogue that won them over! ;-) Hope you're well PDM. D. (in wet Dublin) | the player
05/7/2002 10:10 | Very short slot really, and they only showed a small part of what they filmed but you cannot expect too much on a news program when matters of world importance are going on. Mentioned earning as much in a day as he did in his previous profession shorting AZN this week, contrasting this with people interviewed in the street about how much they have lost. You need to ask Pdm himself what else they asked, apart from unsuccessfully pressing him for an actual figure on how much he actually made which the doubtless would have shown, but he's on his way to Budapest for the weekend now so it will have to be next week. | mug punter
