SMOKEY HILLS POWER RESTORED
Platinum Australia Limited (ASX:PLA) (AIM:PLAA) is pleased to advise the control
panel of the generators at the Smokey Hills Platinum Mine was repaired on
Saturday 30th January. This allowed the operation of milling and flotation
sections of the plant to be restarted on the same day.
The operation of the mine and the crushing section of the plant were unaffected
by the stoppage of the generator plant as they were able to continue operating
on power from the Eskom grid.
