12/5/2014 14:55 | Where's that AGM? Did anyone get a hard copy of the Annual Report and were AGM details/voting card enclosed perhaps? By my reckoning, an AGM must be held within 15 months of the last one which makes it by 21 Jun. At least 2 weeks notice required to shareholders. Why the delay? What's on the agenda? Can buy 5m online at around .047p I see. Makes a market cap of about 1.1m. Rame holding alone worth near £600k, paid £465K. Total current assets at the year end £1,408,933 of which total cash and cash equivalents £1,195,379. Rame investment leaves about £730k in cash for more pre-IPO investments (assuming no other investment sales and ignoring running expenses). So unsurprisingly, "The Directors have prepared cash flow forecasts through to 30 April 2015, which show that the Company will have sufficient available cash resources to provide for its future requirements." Also from the report: "Net asset value £1,305,635 Net asset value fully diluted per share 0.057p" NAV on basis of increase in value of Rame investment about .061p, before running expenses. Update on those by 31 Jul latest. All in all, no need for cash, can only raise more at twice the current share price even if they do, one solid investment so far, more alluded to: "The Board believes that the investment in Rame will set the pattern for the Company's future investments. Our objective is to provide capital at the pre-IPO stage to well-established companies that are seeking to come to the market in the near term and where the Board believes that the Company's funding and assistance can hasten this process. Although we are looking at other resource and energy projects currently, we are also reviewing opportunities outside of this sector. The Directors remain mindful of the need to restrain costs and generate additional income streams. The Board believes that the Company is now moving forward in a positive way and it looks forward to further positive developments in the current trading period." Looks solid enough, backed by cash and assets compared to many others and currently sub-nav, significantly sub-nominal value and as cheap as chips. Any closer to a new thread yet swizz? Maybe we just need the spotlight? | ![]() outspan

10/5/2014 19:42 | news here could take a while but big news expected at gwmo:- hxxp://www.siliconin Rio Tinto Limited In talks with Great Western Corp. (GWMO) to increase its interest inGreat Western Mining Corporation PLC who operate as a mineral exploration company in North America and Ireland. The company explores for copper, silver, gold, uranium, lead, and other minerals properties. It owns interest in 896 claims comprising approximately 7,305 hectares in Mineral County, Nevada. Great Western Mining Corporation PLC was incorporated in 2004 and is based in Dublin, Ireland. Currently GWMO are carrying out reverse circulation ("RC") drilling on its M2-Smith copper target in Mineral County, Nevada, using the O'Keefe Drilling Foremost Prospector W750 drill rig, the most versatile RC drill rig configuration in the industry today. The rig has been designed with off road drilling campaigns in mind and to produce results in almost any conditions. This is in line with the Company's programme announced to shareholders earlier in the year and work is progressing in good time and on budget. The drilling programme is designed to appraise and evaluate the successful pilot drilling carried out in 2013 on M2 and to assess the extent of the resource at the M2-Smith Prospect through step-out drilling. 14,000 feet of RC drilling is planned, in approximately 30 drill holes, but this may vary depending on the results achieved. These results are now believed to have revealed a significant JORC UPGRADE of 400/500% from the initial first 10-20 holes drilled. And rio are now looking to make a very significant cash offer for a increased piece of this highly sought after project. | 29howarrd

09/5/2014 16:19 | I suspect the gradual build up in shareholder value via pre IPOs is too slow for some speculaters who wanted a big bang reverse takeover. Or is it also the PR factor in play? | timely4
