Rame Energy plc ("Rame" or the "Company")

First Day of Dealings on AIM

Rame Energy plc, the vertically integrated international energy consultant, engineer and power generator, is pleased to announce the admission of its issued share capital to trading on AIM. Dealings will commence at 8.00 a.m. today. This follows the completion of a placing of 7,222,223 million new shares at 18 pence per share and the issuance of GBP800,000 of convertible loan notes to raise GBP2.1 million before expenses, giving the Company a market capitalisation of approximately GBP17.1 million on Admission. The funds raised will be used to fund Rame's equity participation in, and technical work on, near-term development wind projects in Chile. The Company is working with Santander Investment Chile Limitada ("Santander") to develop its first two wind power sites totalling 15MW which it expects to be operational by the end of 2014. Northland Capital Partners Limited is Nominated Adviser and Broker to the Company.

I think that's their only exposure - any new investment would have to be rns'd and it looks like RAME are doing a good job of keeping us abreast of after ipo holdings...so unless they took more in the ipo at the ipo price....

regardless 25% discount to something that might go up 25-50%....not exactly shabby and bodes well for the future imho....

Hi Divmad, yes, after my post I pondered further on that and I've had another thought. Having now checked, I see the Rame disclosure talks only of "Persons Interested" and not of Major Shareholders. So I'm now minded to allow for PIRI's stated 3.5% interest relating only to the CLN. Thoughts?

Yesterday we had 8 deals for 12 million total. Today zilch on some good news find. Hard to explain but clear to me that there's some good value in the RAME deal.

So, if you are right, outspan, PIRI has effectively invested all its WC into RAME. Quite a ballsy move.
