27/7/2001 02:19 | Well I wish I had just one or two shares of Berkshire Hathaway. Current share price is $68,000. | onlyme
27/7/2001 02:09 | Quite right Ashley. Look at my favourite share, The Mutual.Net (TMN) for instance, only 0.14p to buy. That's 14/100ths of a penny in case you misread it. You can buy over 700,000 shares for £1,000. What a bargain! This exceptional stock has a downside of only 0.14p and an upside of... well, you remember Baltimore at £130?? That would be a profit of over 9,000,000%!! The spread is only 0.07p so no problems there either... | kayak
27/7/2001 01:50 | I am baffled, pound stocks are a total crisis of lemming f/m sentiment, if I buy a sub 10p resource stock, it can double in a month, why do people invest in £1.00 to £20.00 stock, you can lose so much ie in excess of 90% IMHO! INVESTORS ARE WEIRD, PLEASE DISCUSS PENNY PLAYERS VERSUS SQUID LEMMINGS! Looking forward to multi differing views, which afterall is why BBs exist! Best regards Ashley | mr ashley james |
