It's not negative... the asset looks ok... it's just going to cost huge sums to reach a value proposition...that's all. Will now stand down from posting. This stock recommended to me as I am searching for good copper plays. Just thought to raise my thoughts on risks that was all...

porsche888 - I have invested in stocks for many years. I am and have been a member of various web sites and posted on several bulletin boards during that time.

I have never, during that time, come across a poster who owns shares in a company and who is a member of a bulletin board who has never posted on that company's thread.

I have searched through all your posts both since Phoenix was listed and prior thereto (for the evidence of any doubt)and not once have you posted on the Phoenix Global (PGM) thread until this evening.

And that post is negative. I wonder why?

I draw your attention to the CEO's comments ....on a cut off grade of 0.325 low capital cost, quick build open pit mine....which is a bit different from what you are saying....so 100 million is not on the agenda.

Let us see what comes down the pipe on route to delivery.

They need over $100 million to get this project over the line. You can't fund this completely with debt... my concern is the fact the cut off grade is a bit low0.22 is the thresholdEnergy costs are increasing in the USAYou can't fund projects this size from a 5 million market cap businessRestructuring of the company needed first... de list then come back with a better structure to get the project movingThat's just the way it is....

Updated note from Brandon HillPhoenix Announces Substantial Increase in Metal Content of ResourceEvent Phoenix Global Mining ("Phoenix") has announced an updated NI 43-101 Resource for the Empire Copper Mine oxide open pit in Idaho, USA.HighlightsThe key metal increases are:• Measured and Indicated Resources have increased by 45.6% to 15.17Mt based on a cut-off grade of 0.184% copper• Contained copper has increased by 37.4% to 73,872t• Contained zinc has increased by 108.3% to 29,813t• Contained gold has increased by 75.9% to139,000oz.• Contained silver has increased by 69.6% to 6,038,000oz.CommentThe most important aspect of the new resource figures is that approximately 5Mt has been upgraded from the Inferred category into the Measured and Indicated categories, which represents a significant de-risking of the project.Only the Measured and Indicated Resources will be used in the proposed low capital cost fast-track open pit oxide operation, to produce 8,000 tonnes of combined copper and zinc annually. Using a cut-off grade of 0.325% copper, gives 10Mt grading 0.61% copper, which will form the basis for the proposed development, being a heap-leach SX-EW operation. Previously we had mentioned that we thought that it might be an agitated leach, but the added cost of this would appear to have eliminated it. The lower grade ore, that between 0.184% and 0.325% copper will be stockpiled and processed once the higher grade material has been utilised. Whilst the gold and silver represents a sizable inventory, this will be extracted after the copper. At Red Star, 3 drill holes have established a small high grade indicated silver resource of 103.5t grading 173.4g/t silver, 0.85g/t gold and 3.85% lead, with minor amounts of copper and zinc. Whilst currently very small, this certainly warrants follow-up drilling, once the SX-EW copper plant is in production. this certainly warrants follow-up drilling, once the SX-EW copper plant is in production.

As financing the mine comes closer imo, czar and it dawns on the market.

Phoenix have only issued good news but the shares have halved. This upgrade is nothing short of sensational. At some point these shares will fly, but when?

Indeed.

Significant upgrades across the board and this is purely for the low hanging fruit, near surface, open pit operation. Who knows what lies beneath?

It’ll be interesting to see what some of the research analysts make of this update.

Thanks for your confidence in me !!

There are always reasons why people sell in distressed situations....as a result of someone's death, required to cover losses elsewhere, divorce settlement.... as a few....

If you know of AAZ we had someone who fell out with the tax authorities and had financial problems and had to sell.... the share price fell from 50p to 4p....2 years later it is now 80p and looking to go a lot higher.

Other than a few miss-steps by the management this distressed seller is the reason why we are down here share price wise. The management know they have got to up their game and they are showing very good signs of doing so.....let's see how the RNS's go and confidence comes back to the mining market generally.

The main conclusion IMHO is that our valuation at 6m is far too low.... it should be more like 5 times that at 30m

Very little volume and market quiet generally so no great worries on my part.

As Snowyflake says above, next week is when the market should be back to business and is a great and appropriate time to get things RNS'd....then we can see how things go.

With our Resource, an Experienced Management Team who should be able to deliver on their vision, we should be able to put our share price weakness, caused by a distressed seller, well behind. I am sure if they do not deliver someone else will take it off their hands....pronto...IMHO

Next week we return to normality post Easter. It would be an appropriate time to release news then.

Even the climate protestors have returned or are returning to the shires to mummy and daddy for hot baths/showers with the benefit of fossil fuels and use of their cars.

Looks like the seller who has been around for a number of months is now out of the picture and any little buying pressure will push us upwards....IMHO.....and let's get the RNS's out ....with our resource we are way way undervalued.....Again IMHO
