With the Mineral Reserve Statement for Empire on 7 May, one would have expected a few interviews by the BoD to further publicise this supposed great news. Have I missed these interviews?

Seagreen: Agree it needs the PFS. You note warrants at 30p and in your opinion the share price could double overnight.. I said the same sometime back, This would help the Mine move towards production. Gut feeling long-term holders will be Talking pounds in the future.

Today it’s mentioned on this board.. alternative funding, Capital Providers, Strong interest, Long-term financing, no strategic investor until PFS And more. Copper is on the US government critical list. proven reserve at Empire mine contains $900 million of metals Mostly copper, at today’s prices. Prices are expected to rise over the next several years.. Only one percent of the license area has been proven up so far. We all know what is beneath The Empire mine, and the high grades that were mined up until the Second World War.. could the government help us? I read somewhere they are considering imposing a 100% tariff on Chinese cars? Going to need a lot of copper to build all American Electric cars. Nevertheless, as the rest of the world becomes more affluent to achieve this, it will need more copper, and it is in short supply.

RP thanks for that, any idea what the official time scales are from the company?

I still reckon we need the PFS all the licences and all the permits before people will invest in the bonds.

They should have raised some initial interest free equity at a discount to 20p with warrants at 30p imho but I am not in charge but the share price would double overnight imho.

I guess they can not get a strategic investor from one of the big boys until the PFS is finalised but that always propels the share price and gives a stamp of approval.

US / UK travel advisories out on Ecuador, political unrest, Lasso impeachment and ramifications etc. I spent some time in Guayaquil, and still have some friends there - sad to see what is happening.

"Proposed funding" plus a loan facility. "capital providers who have shown a strong interest in committing to a robust, longer-term financing package". Doesn't sound like a very different position than PXC.

Interesting on SOLG this morning..potential development funding and loan arrangements. Although not confirmed could show that alternative funding options opening up to smaller mining concerns?
The PFS on the project was released in Feb 24.

Production from Empire is likely to be late 2025. Mine build (on patented land) and license application will run concurrently. All finance dependent, of course.

The average time from feasability to production, according to consultancy group CRU is 12 years for an open pit, and 10 years for an underground operation (due to the smaller footprint).

That is a hell a lot of interest

Last time Copper was riding this high, PXC was trading at 50-60p. Make it make sense. And only in Nov 23 it was touching on 40p.

Now we have all of the following going on:

Copper price on the road to $5 and beyond

1st ever reserve statement last week (RNS)

AGM in 2 Weeks, expect AGM notice soon (Last year was early June)

Some equipment already purchased (RNS)

PFS all but complete (RNS)

New 10m funding with Riverfort (RNS)

25m Copper Bonds due imminent (RNS)

IMO expecting a big rerate soon.

All info has been RNS's recently, publicly available, just have to read through it all, and put the jigsaw together.

Yes, timelines sometimes slip, thats in all businesses, esspecially bringing on a Copper/Gold/Silver mine with limited dilution.

Always DYOR, IMHO

What's the date of the AGM then?Minimum 2 weeks notice and the results have to be published before they give notice.Indications from the company are that the results will be (slightly ? ) delayed ( see DP post) without any specific new guidance on when they should be released.So why do people think the AGM is that imminent...and the results themselves and annual accounts should be what folks are looking for as they should give a full and fair picture of the position the company is in and the deliverability of its key strategic aims and the outlook ..the agm just gives folks the opportunity to challenge on whether those strategic aims previously set have been met and to vote on the stewardship of the company accordingly.

With every man and his dog predicting higher copper prices over the next Several years it does look like now is the time to get things done. But what’s with the share price rollercoaster ride? was that caused by traders, or by Market managers freeing up shares? My corner shop never runs out of ice cubes .. Except In heat waves.
