25/7/2024 07:58 | Average 20624 bopd through 23rd July, happy with that. | royalalbert
18/7/2024 07:35 | Thommie river levels and production in header. | royalalbert
17/7/2024 22:37 | hTTps://x.com/hashta | thommie
17/7/2024 22:27 | Oil production updated, average for July to 15th, 20837 bopd pretty good. | royalalbert
17/7/2024 09:41 | Thanks Royal Albert - still not updated but hopefully soon. Yes - expecting the drop but am hoping with a bit of unseasonal weather we might get lucky and stay higher for longer as the July figures which are shown are certainly good. The levels are above the low for this time of year but I don't know how that tracks when compared to last year. | paduardo
16/7/2024 18:50 | As to why it's not updated more often I don't know and it's in Perupetros hands. | royalalbert
16/7/2024 18:47 | Pad remember they have forecasted a lower 3Q production of approx 13k barrels I believe without looking it up. July off to a flyer but as you say river levels are important that's why I included them at the bottom of header. | royalalbert
16/7/2024 13:51 | Thanks wolf39 - I am keeping a close eye on it as it looks like it was this time last year volumes started to drop because of the water levels. | paduardo
16/7/2024 10:02 | There can be times its not updated for 1-2 weeks even so its a bit all over the place (the few years i have been following ptal and their production). Recently its better where its every day or every other day. I.e with the latest up to 10th, i would say its more than likely will be updated this evening (especially as they dont do it over the weekends) | wolf39
16/7/2024 09:15 | The Perupetro production figures that you can view by selecting the link in the description to this board have not updated since the 10th. Does any know how often they should be updated - I thought they were being done every business day but obviously not. | paduardo
14/7/2024 16:32 | The guidance already reflects the worst assumption regarding river lvls like Manolo explained some months ago when they put out the guidance. That means if the river lvls dont go down to the worst case lvls we saw last year they should be able to beat guidance. Another thing that could help is that when the takeover of the los angeles field is granted, hopefully in q3 it could be possible to deliver much higher amounts of oil from bretana to the iquitos refinery for even less discount by mixing up the high api los Angeles crude with the low api bretana crude. As Iquitos transportation time is only 3-4 days one way instead of 30days to manaus that would help a lot! And maybe, just maybe we might even see the reuse of the onp if perupetro opts to give ptal a final settlement and payments fob bretana instead of this risky thing before. We still have oil in the onp to arrive at sea from 2 years ago as the onp was out of order for so long due to sabotage, emvironmental cataatrophes and the thus needed repairs. The funny thing is, that they started to pump our oil at reopening again. So I expect the final price settlement in the next months. It was paid at an average of 72$ if Im not wrong, which means at current oil prices we might end up with a bonus payment. Lets see. | thommie

12/7/2024 12:21 | Tempted to top up, but only on a breakout of the 50p resistance. | farnesbarnes
11/7/2024 21:58 | Pughman all I'm saying is that management are expecting river levels to fall as was the case last year, they put out the figures for expected production for each quarter and the year end average takes account of this. Production over the next Q3 and Q4 will be interesting to say the least, at present it seems to be not impacting as can be seen by the daily volumes. Of course it can become troublesome but no impact yet and I would expect the management to explain the issue if it arises. | royalalbert
11/7/2024 20:29 | I am hoping that we get a re rate here at some point but in the meantime there is that fantastic dividend to be going on with. For long term era who got in sub 10p PTAL has already delivered in spades. | fozzie
11/7/2024 20:09 | RA, Manaus water levels today are lower than this time last year. Pucallpa are about the same and Iquitos marginally better. I take it you weren't worried last year either. | pughman
11/7/2024 17:35 | Pughman river levels at present not a problem so why should they talk about it. They have already stated in previous presentations a lower production figure for one quarter expecting the river to drop if that is beat the overall production for the year will be higher than forecast. I'm happy with the update even keeping at 6c divi at 43.5p makes 10.57%. | royalalbert
11/7/2024 12:28 | Zeus capital note Concludes PetroTal offers investors regular drilling news flow, strong and growing production based on a material asset, significant cash flows underpinned by the variety of export routes, an increasingly established dividend, and a strong balance sheet. We have a positive outlook for the shares, and value them in-line with our total risked NAV of 93p Date for diary We look for any updates to guidance at the Q2 results on 8 August, | spangle93
11/7/2024 09:16 | No mention of river levels or erosion costs. Aug 8, will say more, but cash levels look robust even with increased capex and erosion costs. Room for a slightly increased dividend of 1.75 cents? | pughman
11/7/2024 08:49 | I was waiting for the "but..." when I was reading the RNS, but it didn't happen. | spangle93
11/7/2024 08:30 | Results look good......where is everyone. | 11_percent |
