Will we get news tomorrow or next Tuesday ? Who knows ? lol
I am expecting a decent result on T-5 (350 bopd +), and forward plan for the field.
A result on Arb 103, wouldn't expect this to add to production.
Possibly a reserves update on licence 67.

What's the betting on Db posting before the long awaited RNS. Anyway the result on T5 will be crucial to PTR going forward and I for one hope for a good result.Any reserves update will be like blowing in the wind at the present time in these markets - of no real use!!VGLTA

PTR has always been a 'join the dots' project. The value won't be released until the $45m is spent, and the exchange rate is currently helping that. By the time its spent the price of oil could have recovered. So once again its a long term play.

Ah well no RNS today for us to decipher.Looks like POO is down for a while longer than most pundits thought late last year.Hope T5 comes in over 400 as it would change the economics on PTRs field development costs and schedule.Let's then pray that when they finally manage to ramp up production the POO is well over the current number.Be assured our BOD is hoping and praying as there is not much else they can do now.VGLTA

ravin146 I totally agree,even when the price of crude was lots higher Ptr,s share price never seemed to gain any traction of any worthwhile mention regardless of any good news "rare as it has been" It really is hard to keep faith here especially now with the price of oil on the floor..!!! Well lets hope we have finally reached the floor... Perhaps lots of pundits share price forecasts for Ptr are way off and in truth we are fairly priced at the moment..????

Steel nice post, as expected this was supposed to happen, and many are expecting a oil rise in h2 15. Crudde. If t-5 is below 300 then I can see the drop, if above 300-400 I reckon it will be flat. Anything ridiculously high, then there could be a spike to 5-6p.Need a reserve upgrade, I can't emphasise that enough.The so called advantage, of being funded and oil price/ currency hedged etc is bonkers as the share price is not showing that, with other oil companies rising if positive results regardless!

Regardless of how positive the next update may be I still expect it to have little or no impact on the current share price. Too many negatives re. anything concerning oil at present.

Spudders, when I spoke with them a few months ago they told me there'd be an RNS the next day and told me the content. They were spot on. Now Steelwatch says he spoke with them last Tuesday and they said there'll be an RNS next week or the week after. Apparently, the contents will be similar to DBarron's last detailed post.

Kev, PTR seem to work on the same principal as me, which is 'it will be Soon' covers all bases that one. At least AMER have a good one 'imminently imminent' on their pipeline news, which has been going on for months 😋

ravin - too early to get anything on Sib seismics I would have thought.

Licence 67 seismic results are in according to the last ops update:

Licence 67

The processing and interpretation of the 156.84 sq. km. of 3D seismic data acquired over the Cheremshanskoye and Ledovoye oil fields in Q1 2014 has been completed.

The reserves calculation for the two fields based on the 3D seismic data is being prepared for submittal and approval at the Russian State Reserves Committee in Moscow.
