09/9/2014 22:17 | Lets hope the T5 well results make McQ look a little foolish in having sold out on the 'cheap' so close to a ramp in the share price The next few weeks will tell a lot. VGLTA | seangwhite
09/9/2014 21:19 | Most if not all would agree that poor old PTR is quite under valued. That said i wouldn't like to bet on a time line or certain event as a catalyst for a more bullish share price Even "Wexboy the value investor" who by the way always sees great unlocked potential in PTR states that when sentiment for a stock ( like PTR ) is all but lost and on the floor it can take a VERY long to win investors back. All said, things seem to be beginning to look up...!!!! | crudde99
09/9/2014 16:32 | Well Robin I do not see many derampers on this BB if there are a few thery are matched by a few loyal fans of DF and PD. It is not long ago the I have gone on about the BODs lousy RNSs but am a holder and look forward to getting some good results in terms of the share price if T5 comes in with flows that are economic. 09/9/2014 13:03 | RR, someone taking a 6% stake is someone else selling a 6% stake, surely? | rcturner2
09/9/2014 12:55 | Woody,Being positive ain't ramping. And the positivity has been now proven to be well-founded.I'm sure if people knew of the 6% stake being taken recently because someone fancies PTR to do well, some wouldn't of sold out so cheaply.Plenty have missed a really positive situation recently and the subsequent share price uplift.. If you haven't noticed there's plenty on here deramping subtlety - I wonder why? | rockin robin
09/9/2014 12:31 | The vertical test result should be here towards the month end, if it is half decent we should have a move in the share price VGLTA | seangwhite
09/9/2014 12:18 | No ramp ... Just telling it as it is ... | dbarr0n
09/9/2014 12:05 | Ramp ramp ramp | woodpecker25
09/9/2014 11:35 | Robin .... They wont be getting mine for quite some time ;). | dbarr0n
09/9/2014 11:33 | They want your shares. The stake-building appears to be continuing....MM don't move the share price up for any reason, other than they have orders to fill.Enjoy. | rockin robin
09/9/2014 11:27 | T-5 is drilling 14 / 15 days now so it should be close to or at target depth. Coring and testing of the vertical section should be happening in the coming days. | dbarr0n
09/9/2014 09:19 | Encouraging start... | rockin robin
08/9/2014 22:18 | McQ seem to have handled the whole of their dealings with PTR in a fairly shambolic manner. The final irony is they sell their holding and just two months after it is worth nearly 20% more which is really only poetic justice.VGLTA | seangwhite
08/9/2014 22:09 | Thanks for that Dbarr0n | danny111
08/9/2014 22:03 | danny .. They might not have had the shares transferred to them till now, stockbroker or market maker may have been holding them. | dbarr0n
08/9/2014 21:42 | if it was them that bought the majority of the Macqaurie stake, why are we only hearing about a holding greater than 3% some 7 weeks later. Surely they are supposed to disclose that in a more timely fashion! | danny111
08/9/2014 20:57 | ravin.... Its a reasonable assumption The Macquarie Bank traded its 42.9 million shares for 5.37 pence last week. The vast majority of the stock was taken by a large institutional investor, which is understood to be a shareholder with a small stake in the firm. An announcement is due to by made to the markets. The remainder of the shares, which were placed by Davy, went to small private clients. They were bought for 5.37 pence, below yesterday's price which remained steady at 5.55 pence in London. PetroNeft had told the Irish Stock Exchange it had received notification from Macquarie Group Ltd, on behalf of Macquarie Bank Ltd, that following market trades on 18 July 2014 "it no longer holds a notifiable interest in the issued share capital of PetroNeft". | dbarr0n
08/9/2014 20:49 | Odd I can't find that company, must be privately listed. If the next rns is not clear and somewhat confusing, I believe many frustrated holders may lose patience. I hope oil india have a proof read before it is released lol | ravin146
08/9/2014 19:52 | All systems go... | rockin robin
08/9/2014 19:21 | The earlier post about the next PTR RNS being clear only was referring to the current T5 drill.Still today's RNS shows someone has a bit of faith in the PTR crew and I for one hope they are right. Any thoughts of a takeover bid from Natlata must be put on the back burner for now though.VGLTA | seangwhite
08/9/2014 18:08 | Is it, that's news to me dbarron. Interesting to see what they do, though 6% is still a tiny institutional amount considering market cap is small too. | ravin146
08/9/2014 17:26 | General Invest Overseas S.A. are the buyers of the near 43 million that Macquarie Bank held.. | dbarr0n |
