Thank goodness I only have a few of these and cashed in some last week.
As I recall, in an RNS last year I think, we were told they were fully funded for Heron.

If you are a shareholder and couldn't take part in the placing you have an opportunity in the retail offer which runs till Friday.Take it if you can.

Perhaps Buck is just useless at his job and no good at negotiating… look how long everything is taking to get done… I’ve happily blamed in the past the govt officials. But perhaps the truth of the matter is the CEO is just way out of his depth!

• The net proceeds of the placing will be used to:

o Commence production and development of Heron discovery in Block XX

– Heron-1: complete and put on production (this will be funded form cash on hand)

– Heron-2: drill, complete Heron-2 and put on production

– Further Heron wells to be drilled, completed and put on production (in the event over $8.5m is raised)

o Drill the Gobi Bear-1 exploration well

o Develop Sunsteppe renewable energy projects to bankable, ready to build status

o Licence/G&A/Overhead

Mid-2024 update· Local land access approvals are now in hand allowing operations to go ahead on Block XX in 2024 whilst the State Special Purpose Certification process is completed in parallel.· Preparations are being finalised for completion of the Heron 1 well and the contractor has indicated that it should be ready to mobilise in July.I read that as we need a rig to complete the well, happy days if I am wrong as no doubt a rig less work over will be cheaper. Just want to see the agreement and rns!

Even Malcy the eternal optimist is running a bit flat! I guess we will get a little bump once the rig sedan ms announced and more once on site. Such a long and arduous road.
