Nice to be doing an appraisal well to start things off.

Yes, but those who have sold or want to buy are there telling everyone its going to drift down.........trying to get others to sell.

Those who are holding will be defending the share price and hoping more people buy.

Light v Dark, Good v Evil, Holder v Buyer, Long v Short

We will get 8 weeks of this now....until both Red Deer and Heron results come in late August.


HOWEVER...........we know that MATD are leaky. On both Wild Horse and Snow Leopard the share price had big volume days up when they hit gas/oil and then strong falls when it appeared no good - all before the final RNS with results.

So we will know, those who watch prices and volumes - from late July onwards if anything is exciting on Heron and through August for Red Deer and Heron.

Maybe, maybe it will rise upwards........stock prices are driven purely by supply and demand.

If people want to buy, or someone wants to buy a lot - it goes up.

If people sell and nobody is buying, then yes it will drift down.

Either can happen........and nobody knows which one it will be.

Spudding is next news, within 3 weeks for the 1st well with second one late July.

Both wells should be complete end August.........double whammy of good, or bad news is possible there. Hope its 2 oily ones.

In the RNS of 16/4/19, the company stated "Two rig contracts signed and both rigs in close proximity to Block XX" . ..

In an RNS from 28/5/19, the company said "The DQE rig has completed its pre-move testing and certification and the required electrical upgrade is expected to be completed in the first week of June"

Should be hearing some news shortly I should imagine...still on track for Early July spud...

Yes, I think you are probably right there Pro, it makes sense to make a bit of hay once the Sun starts shining. Especially as the oil price could rise more with all the middle east tension.
By the way, do we know how far the rig is from Heron 1, I presume it is quite nearby if they have been drilling across the border?

Fox-1 is 9m US$.

All depends where they end up drilling on Block V......if they do indeed drill Block V as the 4th drill and not do another on Block XX.

I would imagine that if Red Deer/Heron/Gazelle go well, then the 4th drill will be Block XX again - prove up lots of oil there and then Block V goes into 2020 drilling.

It's not really moved since the results. Of course everything depends on a successful drill but it always does with exploration.
