Gazelle looks a decent prospect that is also near to existing infrastructure which makes monetisation easy.
From the presentation on Gazelle:
'Structural configuration the same as 19-30 Oilfield on strike to North which is PetroChina’s best producing field. Reservoir improves westwards, favouring Gazelle.'

As usual, do your own homework though.

There is a lot of activity on here all of a sudden. Not surprising people are waking up to the fact that the Heron well is only 1km from a Petro-China discovery on the other side of the Mongolia/China border.
Nothing is 100% a dead cert but, 'Heron 1 will test the extension of proven oil in the 19-46 Oilfield that spills updip into Block XX'.
You can't get a much better CoS than that!

On the ADVFN leader board once again! 2solaris, I have 15-20p pencilled in pre-spud of Heron and am looking for 30p with oil. Then Gazelle which another low risk well followed by Antelope. I am not ramping but realistically just these wells could see over 50p but the 4th well could send the share price much higher and bring in one off the big boys with their deep pockets who would nevertheless be whistling to MATD's tune. A great spring, summer and autumn could be on the way.

mam fach. Do your homework and you will have the answer so why is it hard to know? Check out the company website, read what Malcy has written and listen to the CEO. Then yo's interviews, then you can make an informed decision. Good luck.

Profiting. First up is Heron, the backstop well which they had hoped to have drilled at the same time as the other two last year. They couldn't agree terms with the rig company so the backstop didn't go ahead, the other two were dusters, hence the share price collapsed. Heron is an appraisal well so 75% CoS is conservative, they are expecting oil in commercial amounts and this can me monetised very quickly. GLA

Agree. Hard to know if MATD has just been brought to investors notice
or if (heaven forbid ) it's a pump and dump exercise.

The risk reward ratio on this is minimal given current forthcoming wells and also fully funded so at these levels not much downside and price low due to recent dusters although current drill programme has been de-risked.
Difficult to believe that the CEO would quote a 75% success rate unless he was pretty confident.

Willing to hold for the summer to see drill programme results and cant believe these levels will be seen for long.
