Issue of Equity

The People's Operator (AIM: TPOP), the cause-based commercial mobile virtual network operator, announces that it has applied to the London Stock Exchange for 16,535,861 ordinary shares of GBP0.0005 each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission").

The Ordinary Shares are being issued as follows:

- 318,000 new Ordinary Shares are being issued to Julia Simpson, Non-Executive Director of the Company, at a deemed price of 5 pence per Ordinary Share in lieu of her Director's salary and fees for the period from 22 June 2017 (the date on which her appointment was publicly announced) to 31 December 2017;

- 15,900,000 new Ordinary Shares are being issued to Julia Simpson, Non-Executive Director of the Company, at a deemed price of 0.1 pence per Ordinary Share in lieu of her Director's salary and fees for the period from 1 January 2018 to 30 June 2018; and

- 317,861 new Ordinary Shares are being issued to an employee at a deemed price of 9.91 pence per Ordinary Share pursuant to an agreement dated 26 July 2016.

On Admission, Julia Simpson will be beneficially interested in 16,218,000 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.53 per cent. of the Company's enlarged issued share capital.

It is expected that Admission will become effective and trading will commence in the new Ordinary Shares at 8.00 a.m. on 26 February 2018. Following Admission there will be 3,021,340,043 Ordinary Shares in issue. This figure may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
