30/9/2021 10:49 | The big no no for me was the shares being sold by the shareholders in the placing. Further to that the price was astronomical for the company placing to start with. So agree with what has been said here. And yes wish I was a shorter! | fidra
30/9/2021 09:31 | "What is particularly interesting to note is that every single employee that held shares is selling them in the IPO - see pages 134-136. Senior management are also cashing in as far as they appear able to. This appears to be primed for someone (not me) to short." Wish I'd followed my instincts here, this has been a truly shocking first 6 months of an IPO, quite possibly unparalleled? | 74tom
07/9/2021 08:36 | I honestly have no idea rathkum, however it can't be the operating metrics based on those results. Operating cash burn in the 6 months to 30/06 was £4.57m, cash remaining on the balance sheet of just £6.52m, so based on that burn rate they've got cash for about 9 months... What is truly shocking is that they spent £4.85m on marketing and delivered a 'contribution margin' of just £4.1m. In the prior period they spent £2.4m on marketing and delivered a 'contribution margin' of £2.9m... so a net increase of £2.45m in marketing spend delivered an increase of just £1.2m in what is effectively their gross profit... G&A also more than doubled in the period... The CEO then has the nerve to say; "This has been a highly rewarding period for the company" , this is well on the way to being the worst IPO I've ever seen | 74tom

19/7/2021 09:43 | Excellent comments 74Tom. You have been 100% spot on in your assessment of this company. Stay clear seems to be the message. | escapetohome

02/4/2021 22:01 | Thanks for posting the video, that food looks horrific. I can see why they have been able to flog a lot of their meals to older people during the pandemic, with the amount of fear amongst the elderly in even going to a supermarket. A captive market. Once their customers taste real food again I doubt they’re going to be reordering from Parsley in a hurry. Airline meals on wheels, why would you want to own shares here?! | 74tom
02/4/2021 17:33 | Management done well to offload most of their shares at the IPO. This is going nowhere fast. | imjustdandy
01/4/2021 15:08 | Soz it starts in the middle , I'm no good with tech stuff .DbD :-) | death by donut |
