Whilst we wait for details of any agreement on GPA, I looked back at the RNS relating to the £2.9 million lent to TC via Energy Management Associates. The company , run by Mrs C has been in existence since 1993 and involved in building, property and estate management. The loan agreement gives PMG the option to be involved in other projects which may include energy related opportunities. The agreement ends at end July, so maybe we will get some further information on the results announcements late March.Anybody uncovered anything else?

There was a rumour over at I3E that the delay of a farm out of Liberator was due to restructuring at a multinational oil corporation. Folk there think the JV partner was to be Repsol Sinopec. Maybe there's a clue there for our lack of news on GPA?

Bear, I'll be happy just to get a deal this year! It's going to take some kind of consortium to put together a package to deal with the GPA ....wasn't there a reference to a Greater Moray Firth group.....The Chinese are after heavier oil grades to feed their chemical industry and GPA may be just what they need.

No, not at all, I think CNOOC will take a percentage of this field and absorb some of the cost. Only my thoughts.

Nothing on paper. Only ear say, i am sure they are looking into all options and the cheapest one will win.
It seems like its going to produce one way or another, just when is the question.

Is it mere rumour or any substance to your understanding?

I understand this might not go to the Scott, the Buzzard might now be the prefered option. It can handle the H2s at no additional cost, its not that much more of a distance to lay the pipeline.
All is very quiet, time will tell.

I wonder if some of the excitement from CLNR's link up with Shell might cause some renewed interest in PMG?

Simon Thompson's article doesn't give a target price, just says "For that matter it's not being fully recognised by investors now even after a near 50 per cent rerating in Parkmead's share price". And "Priced on a 35 per cent discount to Panmure Gordon's total risked NAV estimate of 85p a share, and with potential for corporate activity in the price for free, Parkmead's cash-rich shares remain a buy".

Trouble is these asset valuations depend on fields like Perth being developed, if they aren't developed they aren't worth anything at all.

Agreed, GPA perhaps as part of this Moray Firth interest group could lead to a major alignment of developments in the area.WOS is ripe for progress as well as cooperative arrangements for gas projects in the Southern NSLots to go and plenty of excitement in the Next 12-24 months.Dum spiro spero.
