Maybe but reading the answers it seems either a post here or a question to the q&a was well wide of the mark so I wouldn't want to risk raising any doubts where perhaps none exist, or getting it totally wrong.

At least the figures have been confirmed and continued reference to Growth is all we need? Also, the AGM will be much earlier this year (summer) so a chance to ask more detailed questions there. Also maybe PEL could 'publish' its growth plans expressed in more £ bottom line details such as WTM VLK(past) and others have done.

Actually market cap is 2.4million but still lower than it should be for a company turning over £12 million and in profit

Trapped sellers and comfortable buyers. Anyone selling at this level is clearly sitting on a loss. The fairly big individual buys over the last couple of weeks are, in my opinion, a few individuals building up decent stakes. Always impossible to call a bottom in a very small stock but a market cap of well under £2 million for this little company is ridiculous .

This share will turn . It's just a question of where the true bottom is. Once news seeps out that it has done better than expected there will be a feeding frenzy!

80% of Brokers issue a ''speculative Buy'' rating on their client. I wonder why that is?

Whilst the host Justin of Sharepickers does have some long term holdings (years)the main attack of the site seems to be at trading and very short term goals (<3 months). Hence, most of its contributors and followers are traders. I also note there are no time frames or Fundamental analysis of any figures justifying a Buy, Sell or Hold. Perhaps unfairly the site has a reputation of being a part of the short term pump and dump trading circle, often based on scurilous rumours. If I have got it right then Sharepickers (on PEL) has gone from

'Buy' to 'Sell" to "Hold" since the AGM on 11th December 2015? Maybe in 2 weeks it will be a "Conviction Buy"?

Has Sharepickers given PEL the opportunity to defend itself against any reviewed criteria by the site?

For avoidance of any doubt I enjoy listening to Sharepickers, but 90% of it is outside of my investing strategy. I do not have the skills, mindset, or psychological strengths required for short term trading.

This from q and a countering lazy note from sharepickers. Does sub-contracting effect business scalability?16 February 2016Q. If you intend employing sub-contractors to help with the extra contracts that you win, does that mean that your margins will fall and that your business is not scalable?A. The question implies that subcontracting and scalability are mutually exclusive, something which is conceptually unsound. Our business is scalable precisely because we can build internal resource (ie 'overhead') to run at full capacity to meet the 'valleys' in demand, and subcontract out extra business for the demand 'peaks'. When we are satisfied that demand has grown sustainably to a new level, we are able to evaluate whether, on a risk-adjusted basis, it is more profitable to build more internal resource or to continue subcontracting. By running our business in this way, we are able to carefully manage the risk of covering our overheads while remaining flexible to grow our revenue. Obviously, if we sub-contract, we have to give some margin up to the subcontractor, however, this is a trade-off with which we are comfortable because it enables us to manage the profitability and growth of the business at an acceptable level of risk.- See more at:

Thanks for your thoughts pelboss. At the end of the day, as long as contracts and priced correctly and then delivered on time, in budget and to the appropriate quality, location of work perhaps isn't an issue, and the bottom line will respond accordingly. Provided the corruption that is rife in some areas where you are working doesn't impact on it.

I think PJ must be looking at page 42 of annual Report for the empolyee levels of:

2014
No.
2013
No.
Production 61 62
Customer services 23 28
Consultants 2 3
Administration 15 13
Total 101 106

I as well think that there must be lots of short termers stuck in here after the ramping last year that will exit as soon as any other hot money stock comes along.

Hi PJ1

Solid observations as ever. Can I suggest that you raise as a Q&A so when we communicate we can reach a wider audience than advfn?

Quick responses.

interesting % assumptions but 2014 and 2015 were largely effected by one project and this also effected the margins. It's therefore not safe to assume this is a trend and related to management struggling with growth. It is however safe to assume that this could happen again and therefore forecasts have a weighting to allow for potentials issues in the future.

MT responded to operating expenses in the last Q&A.

61 production staff and 40 admin staff is very incorrect. We have only 9 staff that are not project related.

Yes, opportunities would be to utilising capacity and where possible utilise subcontract above capacity, increase margins and have more projects than required to account for slippage, work with repeat revenue clients in more diverse geographic and markets.
