11/1/2018 18:50 | Long time since I posted here. Lot of water under the bridge. PMR still exists, how independent it is is questionable imho. Putin has designs on the whole of Ukraine I think. | freddie ferret

26/6/2017 15:13 | Does anyone know what is happening with the payout here and what happens if you did'nt vote? Normally you would automatically get the payout as I don't want the other shares. | isis
20/3/2017 12:57 | Some of the old school would be appalled at this grinning oaf American getting involved here. Spinning in their graves is I think the correct term. | meijiman
17/3/2017 20:22 | Well personally, I'm not happy with this offer. Think we have been well and truly shafted. The business is a high quality brand and to be acquired on an EV of £10M is a very good deal for the acquirer. I'm still underwater having bought for the equivalent of 150p. Trouble with this company is that its not being run for the benefit of shareholders. Ultimately, it could end up being a much profitable company as there are only a few decent small investment banks left and this is one of them. | topvest
17/3/2017 17:48 | Where to put the precedes?? How about MTR .......but don't forget to DYOR!! | thaiger

17/3/2017 10:48 | I think David Buik hopes to have a job- hence his sycophantic posting. 'Can I get you a coffee Mr Diamond' | meijiman
17/3/2017 10:37 | David Buik @truemagic68 Everyone at Panmure is so excited at the prospect of having access to capital, influential investors & companies needing financial guidance | leedskier
17/3/2017 10:16 | Brings to an end what as been a poor investment for me. | 1fox1

17/3/2017 09:22 | Cityam's take ... Conventional wisdom has it that smaller City brokers are destined either to merge or die, so a Bob Diamond-backed move for Panmure Gordon represents a bold bet that he and his partners can forge a fresh path for one of the broking world’s most venerable names. So will this take-over trigger the much needed mergers in this sector? | leedskier
17/3/2017 09:06 | The four hour lunch men at Panmure are quaking at a possible lifestyle change. It's a great shame that these top brokers cannot operate in a proper manner anymore and everyone is being forced to work very hard.......... | meijiman
17/3/2017 09:01 | I wonder if a few shorts got burned this morning although it is a very small market cap | spob
17/3/2017 08:55 | A snippet in the Telegraph article on this take-over... Panmure Gordon has been struggling from structural changes to its business model that are being driven by an EU directive. I have been banging on for at least three years that the Pillar capital requirements were screwing these microcap investment banks (sic) and along with them the small cap companies they purport to service. The City has been sleep walking since the financial crisis ended leverage in banking. The problem is that there are no major UK investment banks interested in servicing the cash equities market. Do we still have any major UK investment banks? | leedskier
17/3/2017 08:42 | sold at 101.1p very nice not having to wait a few months for the cash | spob
17/3/2017 08:38 | AAOG - genuine multi-bag potential Directors incentivised via increasing production, very low b/e levels with high fund participation in the IPO | sportbilly1976
17/3/2017 08:36 | Sold at £1 and good riddance. | fizzypop |
