it has become a real "dog" lately even dropping on a good day in market ! No sign of a recovery in near future it seems .

I see . But through 800 support level on chart now but perhaps support in 780 area . It is so thinly traded and low volume that level 2 is not much of a guide to the next move .

No. Not at all. Far from it. Still a quality stock but when something has risen as far and fast as this has then in an uncertain market some people are going to take profits. Still a core SIPP hold for me.

this has become a real "dog" sincce I bought some and goes down on good and bad days in the market . Were the results really so bad ?

but sadly market did not like it and sharp fall in share price today . maybe because of lack of specifics ?

seems to be heading for 775 chart support and I can not believe my stupidity in not getting out yesterday ! Not the first time I made that mistake but OXIG did look so resilient and did break 1000 before retreating . But it should recover in time !

Been lots of large sells recently, which i believe has been holding the price back.Could have been from the placing.FTSE 250 entry almost certain,I think we will see a good rise up to september when the next shuffle takes place.

very interesting to listen to - thanks for posting it. I hope the share price is just consolidating before the next move higher as gone to sleep recently .

I'm not a magnetometer specialist but I'll see if I can give a few notes/pointers ....if I am right then a magnetometer is just a device to measure magnetic fields... a changing magnetic field hence generates current in a wire loop (or vice versa) so a wire loop with a current measuring device (current meter, precision chip....)in it would measure an AC magnetic field put a loop in each of 3 axis's then I assume you have a X,Y and Z plane measuring device...3D ? measuring a DC field......perhaps via chips/transistors affected by DC magnetic fields and calibrated against a known reference (DC magnetic field generated by known current around a loop of known size, eg. 1amp around 1m2 loop). siesmic magnetometer....perhaps they can somehow map different underground characteristics via different magnetic properties.....perhaps they can send a magnetic field down into it (instead of say sonar ) and then measure different responses/reactions which characterise the underground properties without taking samples....or perhaps with small vibrations perhaps a low level magnetic field is generated which can be detected... (the barriers to entry to making this 3D stuff must be very high I would think due to the computer processing I would assume is required.....and 1D is one thing but 3D is obviously a lot more complicated/expensive to develop) characterising without drilling is I think now done on virtually all drilling zones before going ahead....apparently costs loads...but saves loads perhaps similar to military submarine sonar (3D one assumes) or 3D radar (which the UK is at world level I think, or leading) but done with magnetometers rather than sound or radar detector meters ..the clever (and expensive ) part is probably in the computer processing of signals and presentation of results...

Amazing to see this over £9 now - appeared on one of my screens last August when 340p but heavily commited elsewhere in the sector (mainly VLX) & didn't act. C'est la vie & well done to all those who did.

As I've said before, they're into loads of things I've never heard of, but I figure that if I can't even understand their press releases, the barrier to entry into whatever it is they do do must be pretty high. On that basis, 3d siesmic magnetometers sounds a pretty likely thing for them to be involved in : I didn't even know there were 2d ones !!!

I heard these people were into 3d Siesmic magnetometers for oil and gas exploration -- anyone know about this?

Should make the FTSE 250 at this rate, currently at about a ranking of 307,and automatic entry is 325! Next review is in September, long way till then, but can't see a lot of downside till then.It just keeps motoring upwards!

Quality company, quality earnings IMO. Looks like they got those aquisitions on the cheap to me,earnings enhancing in the first year...... nice! :o) Organic growth to boot also.Highly rated, but deservedly so!
