IC give it a hold fwiw.

Trading on around 20x revised forward earnings at 1350.

Given the backdrop that earnings estimate comes with a large dollop of uncertainty.

If available under 17x, that is perhaps a more interesting add/buy level.

We dont know what happens over the next 10 months, however they have
given a current trading update - all be it just two months of the current financial year.

March's low price may not be seen again imv, unless something dramatic occurs.

May be available a bit lower if we experience some renewed equity market volatility.

Results seem well received but as they only cover up to Mar31 they don't tell us much about what happens next. Optimistic noises about current activity but with very little academic institution activity this cannot be good.
Would seem a reasonable exit point but I plan to hold for yrs...

That is a strong end to the week here ; about where the share price was a year ago. Green shoots?

There is clearly going to be a significant impact on the sector. The working at home plan works well for some parts of these companies but clearly not at the laboratory end or the manufacturing end. I see they have reopened the China facilities but the Californian ones are closed. The UK manufacturing is continuing but how much impact is not clear.
At least the reduced demand will be temporary , the customers won't be going elsewhere in the meantime as rivals affected too. More about delay than cancellation I suspect.
I have no inside info , just a close relative at a similar institution.
No surprise that they suspended the interim dividend yesterday. All 3.9p of it ! Or maybe 4p can't remember.

Traded a very small amount yesterday on the dip, they were very difficult to get hold of, closed that off.

Imv this is a quality company, however need to see the next trading update to
have conviction here. Outside chance it may be taken out at some point, of may be not!

Well , bought back too early as it continues to drop along with most else in my portfolio. Suspect is will eventually bounce back up assuming Coronavirus does not stun the world economy.
