I think FORDTIN might be the captain Overdale.

The last ten years gold stocks have not been a favoured sector, as well you know.

NOW Is the time for gold to shine and alongside that, the gold stocks, as it is still a precious metal ....whereas an etf is... err....just that

just an etf.

In my opinion of course.

Could do with a baseline NI101-43 OR JORC , even at inferred level as we've had 10 years and nearly 50,000m drilled to date.
highly geared

Doesn't this tell you something?

They are excited about these finds!

'
Exceptional drill results like this don't come along often - so please excuse if we enjoy the moment. But tomorrow it's back to work. Clearly this result shows there is something at Pepas, the question is what and how big? Hole PEP016, starting today, is the first of the "how big" holes. We have now in effect moved into the definition phase.'

'The efficiency of this drilling is quite startling. Unlike past efforts at APTA, where deep holes and slow labs meant things dragged on for months. This is all moving fast - almost too fast to allow us time to think. The poor lads with shovels building the drill pads are struggling to keep ahead.
It's worth noting that the monster up the road, Buritica, needed 300,000m of drilling before they could do a decent feasibility. Its an amazing deposit and so worth effort, but hopefully we can do a bit better than that..'

From Orosur themselves.

If this is going to be a big find then people might not cotton on straight away.

But the people who understand gold and resource stocks, will be the ones to judge.
We are luckier in some ways, in that small companies can move fast and exploration is a different game, for them compared to the big mining stocks.

Also, as we know the share price can move quickly.
Either way, of course.
But if this company that now has 100% ownership of this area, is as good as I sense, then we will soon find out as things progress, fairly quickly I would have thought.

I don't even care what the share price does short term.

I am just really really pleased I have some.

Just to add, placees normally sell their placing shares to exercise the warrants thereby holding onto 'free' shares for the long term.

How many warrants outstanding? 25m? Conversion prices in the low 4's which means they are now 'in the money'. Exercising warrants will lead to dilution. I can live with that. OMI will need the extra money to keep drilling

Although the Dud is back, notice he is not shouting. Maybe he no longer believes his own crass contributions.

I am firmly with you hazl. However, I am a LTH, very long. As such, although you are an all in member of the Gold Team, I think it is fair to say I am the Captain ;-D

According to Morningstar 'the acquisition will involve a grant to both Newmont and Agnico of a 0.75% net smelter return royalty on all future mineral production and a fixed royalty of USD37.5 per ounce of gold or gold equivalent ounce on the first 200,000 ounces of mineral production. '

Newmont has a substantial holding.

Then again there are the royalty agreements.
