06/9/2022 18:30 | Freefall, you talk utter codswallops. Move on already, not sure why you hate OMI so much, maybe you missed the last few runs upto 40p. Or didn’t have the minerals to get in at 7p and gain the 150% over the last couple of weeks. Why people constantly go on chat boards dissing stocks they dislike so much I don’t know…. Why waste your time haven’t you anything better to do? | goldiebullrun
06/9/2022 16:44 | Nice consolidation above 40% following the expected and promised good news on drilling. This, despite the day traders earning their lunch money. Maybe Brad is keeping his powder dry on the expected good news on assays for this evening.Gla, especially LTH. | overdale123
06/9/2022 16:02 | Looking forward to the CEO's presentation tonight - should be rather positive :o)) | rivaldo
06/9/2022 15:14 | You could be waiting a long time. People seam to have forgotten this is the Columbia update, the country were the recently elected president, Gustavo Petro, said he will not grant anymore mining permits or licenses as he doesn't want any further damage to the environment. Unless I am mistaken OMI only has an exploration licence. Surely our JV partners will want to be certain they can obtain a production licence when they need one before they jump into phase 2. That could be very long process, add in the cost of mining in this remote part of the country and the huge tax implications in Columbia and it soon highlights how today's results do not mean that phase 2 is assured. I am sure it will all be sorted out in the fullness of time but in the meantime OMI will need funds to carryout it's other JV obligations. Tonight's presentation will be very interesting and may answer lot of questions but if Brad is true to form it will create more questions and produce very few answers and the share price could collapse over the next few days as it has following previous presentations. At the end of the day it matters not what anyone says on here the market always decides and currently it appears to think OMI is overpriced or this morning's climb would have continued and we wouldn't be heading back towards 14p this afternoon. | freefall3
06/9/2022 15:12 | Who is 'we' freefool3? You don't own any shares! Nearly pmsl! Be a good lad and jog on. Go and pester other BBs with your downbeat rubbish. | silverstone_2

06/9/2022 14:02 | This is falling faster than I thought, I imagined some would wait until Brad's presentation tonight before selling out. We could be back into single figures in no time at this rate. | freefall3

06/9/2022 10:44 | Getting a second wind now....11.3m shares traded already today. SP Angel have updated today, reiterating the RNS details and concluding: "Conclusion: Orosur have received a fantastic first intersection at the Pepas target, which has given the Anza project another string in its bow following results at the initial APTA target (59.55m @ 9.61g/t Au). We note that the company remains well funded given Monte Aguilla are funding exploration at the project. We look forward to further news flow from Colombia and the wider Orosur exploration portfolio." | rivaldo

06/9/2022 08:51 | Turner Pope have issued a new research note, describing today's results as potentially a "gamechanger": Extracts: "Orosur has released assay results from the first three diamond drill holes at Pepas, a new prospect which is located in the north of its Colombian Anzá Project (Anzá or ‘the Project’). Significantly, these include a very substantial, high-grade gold intersection from surface of 150.90m @ 3.00g/t Au (including 102.40m @ 3.73g/t). Additional holes are currently underway across both the Pepas and Pupino prospects. Meanwhile, Orosur’s JV partner, Minera Monte Águila (‘MMA’), has informed the Company that it has met its expenditure commitment of US$4million for the current JV year, completing its minimum Phase 1 Earn-In Work Requirement. MMA may now elect (effective date, 7 September 2022) to enter into Phase 2 of the Agreement, which would require it to invest a further US$20m in qualifying exploration expenditure in the Project over a maximum of 4 years. If completed, such expenditure would see MMA earning an additional 14% equity in the Anzá Project for a total of 65%. Indeed, with today’s results suggesting potential for what could be a ‘game changer’ in terms of the Project’s grading and scale, it would now be something of a surprise if Orosur does not imminently find itself diluted down to 35%. This of course would not only trigger a milestone payment of US$2m, but also significantly raise confidence in respect to the Project’s future route to commercialisation." "Interestingly, although the hole was started in April 2022, drill results from PEP001 were considered to be so significant that the JV partners chose to re-assay a large number of samples to resolve over limit issues and to confirm QAQC standards were met. The hole was originally trying to intersect the depth extension of a high-grade surface sample of 8m @ 20g/t Au; hitting such an extended intersection from surface was therefore far from expected." "In contrast, however, the grade of mineralisation intersected in PEP001 is several times higher than these porphyry systems which, of course, would make a major impact on project economics if tonnages can be developed." | rivaldo

06/9/2022 07:52 | Wonderful news here today. An exceptional first hole at Pepas, with over 450 gram metres from surface. On top of that, notification from MMA to OMI that they have met the Phase 1 expenditure virtually assures they intend to commit to phase 2. So we can expect on average $5mil of exploration expenditure every year for four years going forward, all paid for my MMA. Plus $2mil cash into OMI coffers. Massively derisked now. It will be interesting to see how the market reacts. | bushtuckaman |
