What do you think? What price do you think if the initial drilling goes well?

No that wasn't the question Tidy.

What's changed? OMI already had one major, why does two make such a huge difference?

I get the sentiment thing, and the grades and the free carry, but was OMI's share price really undervalued by a factor of 7?

You want to know why 2 majors are paying 100% of operations at Anza, supplying all personnel equipment infrastructure and expertise free to OMI plus cash payments?Watch the CEO last interview from last week. Anza in top 2% gold prospect available in the world So Newmont retains 37.5% Agnico retains 37.5%Both share all costs and pay OMIOMI retains 25% free carry and receives cash payments. Anza gold grades world class

Sentiment drives the stock market. The addition of two majors plus imminent drilling campaign plus improved market sentiment. Rising prices also attract attention and if the story is good people will have a punt. Risk reward was clearly completely out of kilter and the share price has risen to correct the balance.

No one willing to try and explain why two majors vice one has made such a dramatic impact on the share price / Mkt Cap.

Ref pat. If if if is the problem. OMI already has the big deal with a deal you will struggle to find on the market 2 leading majors funding 100% free carry to OMI plus cash payments and highest grades of gold

tidy, I don't necessarily disagree, but PAT has moved from 5p to 15p in a matter of days, so if it does sort its court case out then it could go a lot lot further IMO, similar graph to OMI!

to be fair to PAT, it also has plenty of other assets it isn't a one trick pony....

DYOR and let's see. Still a fan of OMI

Why chase rainbows with PAT and court case hanging over its head. Omi is the real deal funded 100% by 2 world leading majors plus cash payments.

Tidy - OMI was 100% fully funded with one major. I'm curious as to why the introduction of a second major has resulted in a 7 fold increase in the SP?
There's no doubt that the drill results were stellar, which begs the question as to why Newmont gave up 50% of their share?
