28/8/2017 21:08 | ... and likely more rises in near future. European APT, ferro-tungsten prices jump on tight supplies, high replacement costs Benchmark ammonium paratungstate prices soared to their highest level since March 2015 last week as sellers elevated their offers, reflecting Europe’s exposure to the rallying Chinese market. APT prices were up 7.5% week on week, assessed at $269-275 per mtu, cif Rotterdam, on August 25 compared with $250-256 per mtu previously. Consumers are expected to return to the market in September, at which point sellers indicated they would open their negotiations at price levels similar to those seen in China. | 12vic

24/8/2017 08:59 | Thanks RI - people should pick up on the news soon. I'm trying to work out at what level institutional investors will show interest again. The consensus was once production achieved but given the recent firmness in the pricing , I'm hoping there might be more activity prior to this. | 12vic

15/8/2017 11:31 | Celeritas just want to add a few things that might give some additional perspective. The figures from the March presentation have been generated from the original DFS that was published in 2012 and then a further review in 2014 by the company prior to the financing round. So essentially 3 years out of date , but actually this will likely prove to be a positive. There will have been technical / cost saving development over that time that will probably bring costs down. For a start we now have a far better understanding of the ore body than in 2014 through drilling updates. You won't see anything published to this effect because the company will not be positioned to give a firm update until the mining contract is in place. This will come further down the line in project development. At a guess I'd imagine in about 6 months time. To give you an idea of the importance of the mining contract , you can see from the presentation that it covers 79% of the OP ex - so savings here will have significant knock on effect. The other thing to consider is that a true all in cost per MTU will need to include calculations of debt repayments and management fee. This is where it becomes a little more complicated to work out. For what it is worth I have seen ball park figures suggesting this might amount to an additional $20-25 MTU but this will fluctuate depending on how much debt is drawn down and production levels achieved. | 12vic
15/8/2017 10:05 | See slide 9 of the March presentation for the most up-to-date indication | steelwatch
15/8/2017 09:47 | What are the all in costs, cant seem to find them. | celeritas
14/8/2017 17:04 | Thanks TERROPOL. I really don't mind you posting the quotes, but, this time, the quote should have been $248-256/MTU vs $240-248/MTU I would have thought? Also, there is a chicken & egg situation to resolve as far as proactive vs the chart above. However, nice to see the upward trend continuing. | steelwatch
