                            Resignation of Director


Orbis Plc announces that a non-executive director, Gerry Connolly, has resigned
from the Board with effect from 11th December 2007.

The Company continues to be in discussions regarding the possible sale of the
Company and, separately, its financial re-structuring.  The Board considers it
unlikely that either of these options will produce value for shareholders.  The
Board believes that these discussions are likely to be concluded early in the
New Year, following which the Company intends to announce its preliminary
results.
