Posted at 23/9/2003 19:53 by tomorton I have been asked same question by a friend who has a few Orange.France Telecom's share price doesn't suggest the French market is aghast at the prospect and they have just got back into the black after a torrid period. Dividend appears to be 4%, and there's almost nil chance FT will be allowed to disappear like a lot of smaller telecoms. But then there's currency exchange risk, and why would anyone dump money into a lumbering elephant like FT? Any thoughts? Anyone? |

Posted at 15/8/2003 16:10 by acetc I don't understand this either but the volume of trades is very low, so that is not really going to affect the price. There must be some news that we are not privy to that is driving OGE upwards. Anyway I don't care what it is....some froggy reason I expect.... as long as we get back above launch price (608). |

Posted at 08/5/2003 20:26 by yz426 While 8 Euro's remains resistance, OGE remains a sell. The longer the duration of the topping pattern, the more acute the proceeding downturn! Telecoms have under-performed the Nasdaq in the recent rally! You pays your money, you takes your choice! Best of luck! |
Posted at 22/2/2003 23:10 by jarbie management changes are a significant new factor in the future progress of OGE - new management is expected to serve parent company (FT) and its needs rather than develop OGE - i would expect some fallback in the share price in the mid term but to what level? - probably below 400p, perhaps to 350p - any thoughts? |
