If Boris and Sir Patrick are to be believed then I suspect that Omega will be extremely busy the next few months and that increased capacity they mentioned recently will be in full use.

The dam will burst I suspect some time in December - ODX are gearing up to produce 500,000 tests a week by the end of December - that commitment says something about what is likely to happen. I am sure they are not ramping up production in some blind hope but have been steered in that direction. Some of the froth has gone from the Share Price and within the context of Covid it is beginning to look good value again.

You're dealing with state machinery, credit to them for putting the consortium together. British ingenuity will win out, this is where we're best and the RTC are on the brink now. Government are in a rock and a hard place, will have been under immense pressure to procure tests from big pharma as you suggested. I think they went down that path earlier in the year and it didn't work out well.

Remember NCYT was trading around 40p not that long ago before it went stratospheric. Don't want to be missing that move when it happens here.

Government have been behind it all the way, its literally been there brainchild and put together for this purpose and is at final approvals stage. They'd have snapped up a test from the big pharmas long ago now if they were any good. Things have been done properly here but fast, this is an entire population we're talking about and the Government standing behind it. ODX is gold standard, you are looking at NCYT mk II pre launch to £10 here.

That is now the Achillies heel. Gvmt have not been behind this since its inception. If anything they will wait until a large overseas pharma has something. That's my view on matters anyway

PHE and the MHRA are fast tracking test kit validation. Don't forget they completed CE marking in just 14 weeks, this process would normally take 10 months or more. The test recently underwent a trial, involving 2000 participants at Ulster University to see if people from the ages of 8 to 80 could perform the test by themselves and correctly interpret the results. The results from this trial will now allow the Medical and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) to provide necessary approvals for its use by the general public.

This is literally a consortium put together by the government. It has state exclusivity.

Mhra approval can take upto 210 days and that is without any questions being raised. So why do certain posters feel that this is imminent. The other problem that I now find with omega is that the government and so called city institutions are not behind the company. Very sad all round really as far as I am concerned especially after holding most of my shares from the spiv days. Only to possibly those days coming back.

If MHRA approval next week or two it'll go ballistic. Get the US election done on Tuesday and market will crack on again, won't matter if its Trump or Biden, markets don't care for that sort of thing, never has done. We'll go into another nationwide lockdown that i'm sure of, we are about two weeks behind France and Germany so not long now. I've had a good listen to the presentation and it sounds like they'll be hearing from MHRA, Boris will be telling the entire population to get home tested and then this share price will be catching up with NCYT. If they crack the US market with a few 100 million $s in orders...hold on to your hats.
