10p bid now, thats pretty sick when you think those brave people had to take out risks of loosing everything here at 5p to buy. Now they only get double back for that risk, so I think they deserve much more.

I remember selling 2/3 of Goldstone at 2p before they doubled, and then I bought many lots at 3.35p and at 3.95p. You got to take a share as it is, and not about its past prices.

> Can't see any reason to sell - isn't just that a 16p stake's been taken; it's more that OHM has moved from "probably bust" to "almost definitely safe".

I very much doubt they would have bought this stake if they weren't reasonably confident that orderbook would improve considerably moving forward. This is looking excellent.

Spec, I agree, added a few at 10.25p. Awaiting Robson's comment. He's probably still picking himself up off the floor!

3yr high was nearly 300p, though I'm sure I don't need to remind anyone on here of that.. ;)

I tipped this share to a friend at 16.5p, and she still has them, so thats some consolation :). All my other recommendation to her have been great winners, so she did not mind.

If it was not for this news, OHM would of ran out of money for sure. What a gutter I sold on fear at 8p and 5p some time ago. Could of been 4 grand better off today.

OHM ceo was right when he said the csem market would lag the oil price by about 6-9 months

if we get anywhere near $100 oil, the E&P's will have cash coming out of their ears and then the analysts will be questioning them about reserve replacement etc

let's hope OHM are still around to hoover up the deals once that scenario plays out as it may be a year out still

You'd have to be blind not to see momentum building with EMGS and OHM taking turns to announce multi-million dollar orders.

Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA (EMGS) has been awarded a contract worth USD
7.5 million to provide 3D electromagnetic (EM) data acquisition, processing and
interpretation services for a repeat customer. The survey is expected to
commence in the third quarter of 2010, subject to vessel availability.

This is the second part of a global 3D EM campaign for a major oil company, the
first part of which was a Caribbean contract announced in mid-December.

Roar Bekker, EMGS chief executive officer, commented: "This major oil company
has become one of the world's leading users of 3D EM technology, and is applying
our technology strategically as an integrated part of its exploration programme
and workflow. We look forward to developing this longstanding customer
relationship further and continuing to deliver high-quality data and,
consequently, adding value to their exploration processes."

Nautical Petroleum plc

("Nautical" or the "Company")

Rig Agreement Signed for Kraken

Nautical Petroleum (AIM:NPE), the independent exploration and production company, focused on the development of heavy oil assets in the UK and Europe, is pleased to announce that a Rig Agreement for the next drilling activity on the Kraken discovery in UKCS block 9/2b has been signed.

The drilling will be performed during the summer 2010 in the south west of the accumulation, using the Ocean Nomad semi-submersible rig. The activity will consist of both an appraisal well and an exploration well, plus testing.

The appraisal well will assess the southern extent of the existing hydrocarbon accumulation confirmed by the successful 9/2-1A and 9/2b-2 wells. The key purpose of this well will be to recover cores and obtain fluid samples, with the aim of collecting data which will be used to optimise the planned field development. The location of this well is within the mapped structural closure, an anomaly shown on the Controlled Source Electro Magnetic (CSEM) survey and an area of high amplitude on the seismic.

An exploration well, to the west of the appraisal well, will investigate three potential reservoirs, namely Heimdal III, a deeper Heimdal I and older sands, and targets gross best estimate prospective resources of 114mmbo in the Heimdal III and I reservoirs.
