02/7/2013 18:12 | This trading statement (profits warning) slipped out at 17:31 50% drop tomorrow? Or am I being too negative? Debts reduced but they don't say by how much.It would have been helpful if they could have stated a figure; which suggests by not much. Does anyone know if any covenants have been breached.Im sure I read they had significant headroom but I might be confusing it with another company with debt. Can someone clarify? Thanks in advance. | she-ra
28/3/2013 14:27 | This_is_me :> Thanks - Caution necessary ?? | pugugly

27/3/2013 13:37 | Thats as long as they dont do a rights issue to get rid of the debt. | she-ra
27/3/2013 10:37 | Now at a 4 year low and seems to be heading south. Dividend cut to 7.2p and dividend policy under review. Net debt increased to £29 million. Turnover increased but margins decreased. Any thougths on prospects and share price ?? | pugugly
08/2/2013 14:04 | Banner rolls out contract Norwich-based stationery specialists Banner Business Services has secured work with three more government departments as part of a £37m contract to supply and manage their waste paper. The firm's 'closed loop' paper system is an audited service that sees waste paper shredded and recycled before being returned to its original owner. Banner already supplies HMRC, Virgin Media, and McDonalds and the government deal will now see it supplying the Department for Transport (DFT), the Home Office and Defra. Other departments are also expected to sign up as part of the three-year contract. Richard Costin, managing director of Banner Business Services, said: "We're pleased that so many of central government departments have agreed contracts with us. In 2013 we're targeting big public sector organisations and hoping to secure further general stationery and Closed Loop agreements." | jeff h
22/1/2013 13:35 | Looking at cash out flow it may be chopped!! Can see this testing 50p if it does. tiger | castleford tiger
15/1/2013 11:03 | Good question, CT. Probably unrealistic to expect to to be maintained in light of recent announcements. Might they halve it? At this price, that would still be a respectable yield. | thamestrader
15/1/2013 09:19 | dividend safe?? or a big cut? | castleford tiger
12/1/2013 19:52 | Further to my post 492 above yet another profit warning - Stating to look like either a broken business model or very poor management execution. I suspect a bit of both as now on the way to 6 years of falling profits. .:> Jeffian - I think you may have put your finger on one of the Management problems - If they do not know their Corporation Tax from their Income Tax should they be in charge of a public company. DEBT COVENANTS: Anyone know off hand details of the debt covenants as might be getting close to breaching | pugugly
12/1/2013 12:21 | From the Trading Update - "....we now expect to report underlying profit before income tax..." That's a strangely worded statement. The normal phrase is 'profit before tax'(PBT) but if they're going to elaborate, I thought companies paid Corporation Tax not income tax! | jeffian
12/1/2013 09:09 | Update : GECR reduced target is 175p but reiterate buy. | blueliner
09/1/2013 11:25 | I know, I know, sorry. It wasn't showing up on the other site I use (an ADVFN competitor). Then I saw it on ADVFN and wish I hadn't. Not very positive. | thamestrader

07/12/2012 08:25 | Hendersons added 1.2 million shares this week to now own 7.5% I know M&S and others in the private sector are looking at using the Closed Loop recycling part of the business....would be nice to have them on board. I've added 5k this am. | jeff h
20/11/2012 16:46 | interesting share | rovi57
15/11/2012 16:47 | Cam to have a look after poor Trading Statement(IMS) and subsequent fall - Margins and profits being eroded. Interesting that the GECR report mentioned by windlass no longer exits - Anyone knwo why it was pulled ?. SP a year low and long term (2 year) resistance level of some 120p - If 110p breaks then could be in free fall. Extrapolating from the ims profits could be in the region of £4.3 million the 6t year of falling FRS3 profits(source REFS) and borrowings up to some £28-29 million. Gearing potentailly ingreased above the 121% last year (Source Refs again). I suspect one for the watch list and do more research. (IMO & dyor) Any other thoughts? Anyone eny experience of the Company as a supplier ? | pugugly
29/8/2012 10:57 | Just looking in here, no mention here or in that GECR write up of Best Buy closing all their mega stores in UK, which they have. Didn't I read the founder is trying to take Best Buy private in the USA. Interested in reinvesting here can anyone enlighten me if the above casts a cloud over BBE contract. | blueliner
28/8/2012 11:33 | paid for by the company, so hardly likely to be a "bad" initiation.... | old tyke
