It seems at last Obtala, sorry Woodbois, have finally chosen the right path and concentrated on a business that will be huge, with demand for every plank they produce, coupled with the extra margin from trading those they dont.

Whilst I always hoped the farming would be a regular cash cow, it clearly isnt.

We've had many false dawns here, but if this was a new business, with this management, and this area of expertise, investors would come wading in imo.

‘white collars tend to overcomplicate. keep it simple’

Probably a fair comment, the flip side is that those white collar wearers have ‘made’ millions (I’ve lost count of how many) from OBT’s investors without risking a blister or a splinter!

The usual reason why small investors lose money - fatigue and small pot.

The boss spinning in to preference shares also didn't fill me with confidence for the ords.

Wonder when the response from MP was dated ?

Investors will remember Quindell ? What was the CE doing (selling) and what was the RNSs telling ? (that he was buying)

A completely different story in hindsight.

I'm just testing my intuition here...it simply does not smell right.

I sincerely hope no PI is financially badly hurt...good luck all.

The flaw with those scenarios is someone is buying the Chairman's equity when he sells . The market can't take 50,000 sell never find 500,000 every few days. I reckon he's buying the convertibles v cheap and using his equity to fund those. The equity he's selling is going to the HK investors who already disclosed this. It's a manipulated MBO. Telling the market he's selling when all along there's a concert party buying in the background. The nomad needs investigated.

Stockopedia's figures gives a 2019 p/e of x2. That in itself is an absolutely massive red flag. How come TW has not mentioned that, when he crucifies other Company's on such ratings by warning that the Market is not believing the Company?

Very rarely do Company's on such a low p/e ratio ever come close to hitting targets. In fact I'd argue most go bust, or existing shareholders are diluted out of existence.

As pointed out to me by fellow Investors the cash burn is not reflected against inflated profits.

Why would Management buy it at a Premiun? I fear soon any II will welcome any offer.

I am therefore ignoring these buy out rumours as fake news.

The rumour is longstanding and whether this is just a resurfacing of the original rumour I have no idea - perhaps Laptyop can enlighten us? But looking at things from the Board and major investors taking this private seems like a good idea and then go public again when things are fuirther down the line and figures can back up a decent issue price? Going privare gives the owners much more freedom to moneise their assets no questions asked so to speak.
