Appointment of Chairman
NXT PLC ("NXT" or the "Company"), provider of electronics solutions for audio and haptics, is pleased to announce that Dr David Bramwell will be appointed as the Company's non-executive Chairman with effect from 1 January 2011. Ian Buckley will, as previously indicated, step down as Chairman and from the Board on the same date, after serving as a board member for nine years.
David is currently a director of Rights and Issues Investment Trust Plc.
Within the last five years, David has also been a director of Intelek Plc.
The Company confirms that, other than those stated above, there are no further matters to be disclosed pursuant to the requirements of paragraph LR 9.6.13 R of the Listing Rules.
CEO James Lewis welcomed Dr Bramwell into the team, saying: "David's experience will be an asset to the Company as we move forward with our growth plan."
