Posted at 06/3/2010 23:53 by robson1974 you could not make it up...NVE sell a brilliant pipeline of wind farm assets and Landfill Gas assets for about £1m / MW and now we get press reports of Biffa selling just their Landfill Gas assets for £3m / MW infuriating... i hope EMI collapses and takes Guy Hands to hell |
Posted at 17/1/2010 09:07 by fl4nders I didnt sell my NVE shares in time have I now lost all of my money. I was in profit with them too :-( |
Posted at 02/12/2009 11:00 by praipus Come on International Power put a cash and or shares offer in so we can enjoy the potential here as well. Some say the climate change issue is twice as bad as expected. For me selling today for cash (worthless and no interest or dividend) a few months in to the worst crash since 1929 seems ludicrous should'nt we wait for a higher offer or until we are officially in growth mode again? |
Posted at 25/11/2009 08:51 by a0148009 I would like NVE to squeeze more out of them, this is a bigger, stronger Company than it was when they bid 90p.AO |
Posted at 04/11/2009 20:47 by robson1974 no, they will be able to bid again if someone else bids or they agree a deal with nve board |
Posted at 12/8/2008 11:16 by praipus robson1974 I have started a new NVE thread as you have had no response to your post. |
Posted at 12/8/2008 11:14 by praipus Hold some of these through BRNE Black Rock New Energy Technology PLC an investement trust. RWE (REG Renewable Energy Generation PLC) are making money forward selling their electricity and spot selling ROC's. They are also updating their wind turbines. In REG's situation this will nearly trebble the output at one wind farm. Presumably NVE could do the same thing at some point enhancing their income stream going forward. |
Posted at 07/5/2008 19:17 by gac100 90p a share's beginning to look a bit silly with A'Chruach all but doubling the consented wind capacity. Nice work by NVE to get it through planning so quickly. I agree it'd be a shame to see NVE fall to Infinis or 3i at the 90p level. A third suitor really would put the cat amongst the pigeons. |
Posted at 23/2/2008 18:53 by gac100 Meanwhile Novera continues to implement its windfarms expansion:"Windfarm anger Published on 23/02/2008 WEST Cumbrian residents are still angry at plans for a proposed windfarm at Dearham despite developers revising the plans. Five, 106m turbines will be erected on the newly-named Fleeter Wood site if planning permission is granted ..." I was very impressed with how NVE handled the planning process and anti-Lissett Airfield windfarm lobby last year, and with that experience they're well-placed to advance their other sites. |
Posted at 20/2/2008 23:42 by gac100 timbo003, thanks, yes that makes more sense for the 100,000 share sale.robson1974, interesting that Trafalgar have bought as high as 90.15. Early days yet, but wouldn't it be nice if there's another suitor or two for NVE waiting in the wings ... |
