They let you do just about anything in Brighton if it makes money. Mind you we now have a Green MP so perhaps that should be anything but drill for oil...they aren't very keen on cars either.

Drilling cannot be that far off for the La Tosca prospect.They estimate it "to have 45 billion cubic feet of gross mean prospective resource and will target an upside of 85 billion cubic feet gross prospective resource of gas...."

Am I getting this right? You have sold up?? If so, I really think its a mistake. The share price is a great entry point again.... you know what to do.

I still hold some shares I bought at 200p! Quite an achievement to have bought at that price really. Not.

There's three wheels on my wagon, I'm several thousand down, but the train will turn up sooner or later.

Good to see NOP continuing along a well worn path.

I'll bet Muzzer has almost finished the re-wallpapering of the London Offices now with all these Licence Maps.

Just completing my Tax Return and referring back to the previous years am reminded that I sold out of NOP having held for 8 years (at least some of my stock) at what was around the 111p and 124p levels in March and Apr 2010.

Good to see I appear to have made a wise investment decision for a change!!!

Good to see some familiar faces are still here and holding the faith. I think it is one more year to go and then we are at the 5 year mark since I had the "I'm gonna take Northern Petroleum to be a £1 Billion company within 5 years" chat with Muzzer.

So by my reckoning, I think TW maybe right that this is gonna be the stock of 2012 as it is heading to go up by 1000%+!!

Keep the faith people, you do genuinely deserve to be rewarded for your patience, whereas Soul and I deserve nowt for our 6 or 7 year short sightedness!! lol

According to ADVFN,the M Cap of WSX is £37.4 million,while that of NOP is £74.8 million.In fact double that of WSX.The major driver here is the Guyanne well.The market is more or less, for NOP ignoring the result here.If that is not a paradox,I do not know what is.From this,you can draw your own conclusions.

You could say,and naturally this applies to any investment,you choose to make,it is all a question of timing.Remember the severe correction a few years ago,how many had the bottle to move in then,when prices were sliding everyday.Could it just be that,somebody perceives that NOP could just be a ripe target for them.At some point the approvals and drill times will fall into place.A predator will be watching and waiting when you least expect it.Why explore when it has already been done for you.Companies have agendas,which they need to realise.Could NOP fall victim to this.Who knows,time will.

When people start talking about takeovers to out value you know the company is out of favour. It smacks of desperation.
