I dont think there is anything untoward going on .. Other that the usual dragging your heels to work that normally seems to be requirement to work at NOP..

The volume the other day says to me that they is yet another seller of stock at these levels but they seem to have found a buyer without breaking 80p..

As everyone knows on this BB.. this stock is cheap re assets and potential.. but this stick is rated re. management... a farm out is needed.. maybe even some in house success as well. But never worry about a take out that would only relieved us of our collective misery as NOP will never have any real potential value attached to the stock with this lot in charge

Not quite as simple as it sounds. They would have to get both parties to agree to sell Northpet. That is why I believe that it puts NOP in a strong position.
Anyone fancy a pairs trade (relative-value arbitrage) NOP WSX?

WSX capitalised at £32 million approx.Since Guyanne discovery their value has gone up more than £16 million.Taking into account the current share price of NOP,the market has to all intents and purposes,virtually ignored this.Am I missing something or is this a massive paradox?

That is my point as well regarding WSX.They have DB,we have DM.The relative share price movement to the Guyanne discovery,is so frustrating.
