So Western Selection sell another 1m shares at 170p. Can only assume Harwood have taken them... that would push them close to 20 per cent I think. I suspect they share my view that the Cresthic only business will be taken over in the next 12-18 months

Sorry, I don’t follow this closely. Did the capital reduction anncd 29 Sept go ahead? It hasn’t been rns’d aiaa. If not was it due to creditors objecting? Co looks very interesting with Chrestchic a jewel but somewhat opaque to say the least.

So Harwood pick up another half million shares from Western Selection. They will push hard for change and hopefully pick up any stock on offer from loose holders. Still expecting a big 2022 for the new Northbridge ie Cresthic

Clearly nothing doing on the Tasman sale otherwise would have been completed by now, does not take months to pretty much give a company away. Value to NBI zero as it stands, best off holding on to the asset and attempting to create some value to trade on at a late date, on the basis it does not require more capital investment. A stupid acquisition by that idiot Hook, overpaying for it in the process. Has no relation to Crestchic whatsoever!

Thanks NC - yes, spot on. Just looked it up and on his Vox Markets interview with our local resident brummy_git, when asked if there would be the usual TU in January he immediately replied that there would possibly be one ahead of that.

Seemed to me that he had an earlier update on his mind but we'll have to wait and see. Perhaps today's stirring in the share price is a hint but as you say it may depend on Tasman progress.

Yep chairman said in Sep that they would possibly do a trading update before the normal January year end one. May rest on progress with the Tasman sale.

hi robertspc1...what makes you suggest we should get a TU this week? Is that based on last year when there was TU with a Strategic Update? Historically the pre close TU has been at the end of Jan or early Feb.

Should get trading update this week and hopefully Tasman sale. I'm sure Peter Harris will want a clean balance sheet by year end. If deal gets done expect change of name to Cresthic and big US expansion next year.

Russia very happy to sell gas imo

new pipelines have been added, eg. to Germany

(if Russia wants to be a bad supplier then people will invest more in other options....& that would not be in Russia's interests....so, imo Russia will not shoot itself in the foot)

but more green power sources should be getting connected, over time, (wind looks the best imo since 24 hours/day, if there is wind !; whereas solar is perhaps just 4-6 hours in winter in the UK, & weaker sunshine versus the summer, & the UK needs more power in the winter I think, due to consumption from heating & more hours indoors (although little/no heating is powered by electricity in the UK, I think, gas is more normal since much cheaper per kwhr)

...perhaps they will need testing
