Thanks for that. Seems to be in a nice virtuous circle it seems.....DYOR....also tightly held by that shareholder list IMO, so some decent demand could see it swing past their first target IMO....

Good to be on board...
Cheers

As said not a generator man but when US Govt (FEMA) involved money is not an issue and they have their internal controls no doubt.

Perhaps those large trades last week helped unblock the pipe to finally enable the long awaited break above 120p. Fingers crossed...

single generators will be tested when they are made & then perhaps occasionally at hiring out places (but many smaller hiring out companies won't have a load bank to use & at bigger companies do they bother to transport generators once per year to where their load bank is in order to do a test/check ? it would not be a cheap process)

but
for groups of generators connected together to power a bigger load (as must surely be the case in some places in the New Orleans region with 0.5-1.0 million people without power) then the paying client might insist on a test on site, no ?, to check that the kw-MW that they are being billed for is actually being provided. (& providing X KW or MW for T seconds on a cold day is one thing, but providing it for say 12 hours in a row, on a 35C sunny day is very different, generators and/or their alternators are all going to be a lot hotter & under a lot more stress; & if there are temperature activated protection devices (perhaps reducing the output power/current or switching the generator off !) then testing/proving performance would/could be very important.

With the 35C temperatures there (& with high humidity) the power demand will be higher when it is hot due to air conditioners being ON & working hard.

(I don't know what is or isn't happening for generators in the New Orleans regions. One assumes that it is very varied, with important buildings (police, fire, council, medical, morques ...) probably having hired a generator just for their building, & some already having a standby generator ready to use.
What is happening for towns/villages probably varies a lot; if their power cable problem will be fixed soon, they perhaps don't even try to connect generators but where re-connection won't happen for weeks then using generators would surely make sense, no.

Yes Smithie they will have all been pretested, I assume they are done annually or prior to positioning, not sure not my biz, I am a distiller.

Doubt it, Cresthic don't make generators, and there are a bunch of them all lined up on the road ready to go owned by FEMA. Pls understand Crestchic business.

This is the BS they are pulling over you guys, linking their capabilities to generating etc etc, they don't generate, they load generators.

the power problems in New Orleans might give NBI some business, is it 1 million people without power

big generator systems will I assume be put in as temporary or medium term solution & may need to be tested with a big load
