Lovely thread, good for a laugh.

PS 1 OFF is spelled with 2 F's

PS 2 Try a little TA and a big glass, looks as if NAM is heading for 500 in the next few days, and then 460 and 430.

Cheers

Good call. Covered for a profit today but will look to get in again tomorrow. They seemed to have turned and are now heading for zero in my opinion :-)

Looking to short again tomorrow - my couple of thousand sell will definitely bring this £3,600,000,000 company to its knees :-) Get a grip mate.

Having a brief look and the chart I think this share is one to short from the current 553p at time of writing with a target of about 518p. This represents a 50% ish retracement of the advance made to date.

After this the share should continue with its uptrend. Any views on the candlesticks?

following research, I have just done it (ie invested cash in NAM). I am interetsed on other people's views in terms of my thinking.

This is an investment opportunity and not a fluctuating day trade (not yet anyway). My reasons for choosing NAM are:

- I believe in what they are doing
- I like the senior people I have met
- I have analysed their past performance.

any other people with informed views? alternatively views on why no-one else has picked up on a share which has consistently outperformed the market for the last 10 years by a factor of 4?

not a madidea, I hope

Dear mad_ideas, this is one I have followed for some months. Some good interest in the court case in the US. It seems they have won the suit and could get big licence fees - but this will not be determined until end March 2001 - it was supposed to be end Jan, but it was delayed a couple of weeks ago.
Some good movements in the shares currently trading between 500 and 590p, so today at the top end of the range. If you get a chance to get it, I beleive it should be good - but suggest lower end of the range.
Good luck.

it seems that no one is interested in this one (except me).

If anyone has some views - I would welcome.

This is a investment, it does not yet have volatility - is that why no-one on this board seems intertested?

future growth areas:
- old people
- wealth

big winner - medical companies with a nich highly complex set of products (big barriers to entry) .....

any views?
