NORD ANGLIA ANNOUNCES 40 PER CENT INCREASE IN SCHOOL INSPECTIONS FOR 2003 - 2004


Nord Anglia Education PLC (Nord Anglia) the specialist provider of education and
related educational services has been awarded a contract to provide 276 school
inspections for OfSTED during the forthcoming academic year - a 40 per cent
increase on last year.



Nord Anglia's capacity to deliver school inspections has increased following the
integration of two regional providers into its school inspections business.



The award of the contract means that Nord Anglia, which has delivered school
inspections since 1994, remains one of the largest providers of inspections for
OfSTED.



"Currently, school inspections are delivered by over 50 approved contractors.
For the 2003 - 2004 academic year that number has been reduced to 24," said
Rosamund Marshall, Director of Outsourcing. "We are therefore delighted to be
one of the chosen providers of school inspections for OfSTED.



"We will continue to work closely with schools, inspectors and OfSTED to ensure
the continued delivery of high quality services."
