This does look like it's just one buyer and he looks like he is determined to grab as much stock as possible. It would be wishful thinking to believe that it is somebody in the know, more likely to be a punter who thinks he's bagging a bargain at these prices. I can remember that there have been previous occasions that a punter has bought big and at prices which seemed like a bargain only for the company to disappoint AGAIN and for the share price to slip AGAIN. Have not seen anything to suggest that this time it could be different but I agree it is more positive than negative for somebody to be adding rather than selling.
It would also be beneficial for the company to update the market as to what is happening, been quiet for far to long

Sure a step in the right direction but until there is news of some progress this is just some punter trying his luck with a bombed out company. If these trades carry on with an increasing price there might be some substance behind the turnaround story but the volumes just don't tell that story. Its about time that NXS gave us a bone and hopefully a juicy bone but I won't hold my breath

Thing is its all a false market as tomorrow I will still be able to buy at .13p when the offer is .15p. If these glory MM boys are serious about creating a market then the spread should be .12-.13p. I bet you that if somebody put in a sell order of 2m then the price would fall, lets face it NXS at the moment is a busted company. No news since July and no trading information since the results until we see that then buying is like walking blindfold.
This buyer is slowly building up a healthy chunk, I hope he has got a chunky bank account

was that more slack being taken up or a seller out completely?

Looks like cheap shares are running out, just tried a dummy trade and there was no discount for buying 400,000.

I hate having to eat my words but followed later by a 1.49m buy at above the offer price which is alittle positive. I hope these people are not throwing their money down the drain, volume is just too low to be somebody in the know

800,000 buy at .13p, this has the look of a turnaround I wonder whether I will have to change my mind about this company in the next few weeks?

Why buy this when there are no present clues on recent state of company, last release approx six weeks ago?

1m buy at .12p, LSE have it as a sell, can't see that as 10,000 on Friday only got .11p, somebody somewhere is seeing this as a bargain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sweepie2 - that deal not only gave NXS £500,000 in cash but relieved them of another £850,000 in debt. 'in addition RTC has assumed third party net liabilities totalling approximately £850,000'. That ought to make a difference going forward but what we don't know is how much that part of the company was losing every year. Has to be worth thinking about a trade sale of the rest of the assets here and using the shell for something else.

If they delisted they would choke off any hope that they have to turn the business around. The last results show a business not going anywhere fast BUT does show an slightly improving picture. Cash in bank of £400,000 and what ever is left of the £500,000 after paying down debt means that delisting is unlikely.

sweepie2 - might be a prelude to some action at last or, as you suggested earlier, just MMs trying to get some action going. I wish them luck if it's just the MMs playing games - kicking a dead horse would sum it up. At least the company haven't mentioned delisting yet so hopefully someone somewhere has plans for NXS.

LSE BB has the last trade(400,000) as a sell @ .12p but the 10,000 was at the offical sell price of .11p, unless the last trade was late reported I don't see it as a sell or though it would explain why the price was marked down. Strange trading

Tight spread as it appears it is now .11-.12p, it does look like they are trying to get some shares on their books.
Weird

More weird trading after the 372,000 buy at .13p there was a recent sell of 10,000 @.11p and they have chosen to drop the price, strange

I presumed that someone out there is happy to buy cheap shares here and the occasional drops are to scare out a few of the reluctant holders. Greatest weapon on AIM is the lack of news if you want to buy shares on the cheap.

You are right but I would always like to understand why the price drops after a large buy yesterday and today has also seen a buy 350,000 @.13p, doesn't matter of course only when we see tens of millions being bought again will it become clear that the management are getting to grips with the problems at NXS

sweepie2 - I don't think it matters much. Just patiently waiting for some news of a great new project that will rocket the share price I also believe in honest politicians and world peace ;-)

Am I reading right that they want sellers as it does look weird dropping the share price when the biggest buy for several weeks or even months has just gone through.
Very strange behaviour but that has been true of NXS for quite awhile, anybody wish to comment?
