13/1/2009 17:53 | there was also more sells than buys today and the price goes up,another indication they want your shares....dyor | doorway
13/1/2009 16:42 | they put the bid up as they wanted your shares...this has held for too long now to be a pump and dump well apart from treacle....steady rises and maybe a huge spike soon...that 500k buy was a indicator of how things are going...and im saying north...but hey what do i know.. | doorway
13/1/2009 16:41 | My understanding is that the "bids" being tabled are for a post restructuring buyout. I'm quite surprised that the banks are willing to take such a hit on this. The Mail today said that the £110m or so would be for the banks and very little would make its way to the sh. I'm therefore surprised again that the boys at NSAM (who have a fair number of shares) are also happy... In the meantime investors keep withdrawing their money and I've heard that staff are on the move too. There's little to keep them I guess? I only have 15000 at an average of 8p. Also holders of CFDs should make themselves aware of what happens with their positions once a stock is delisted...... | sprattyken
13/1/2009 16:27 | Knowing your right the amount of repetitive posts has put me off going back! So i guess that contrary to your username, you dont know either? | gazzastrip
13/1/2009 16:24 | gazza you will have to have a look through the recent postings but suggest you filter treacle and 8T. It will then be alot easier. See we have now gone + | knowing
13/1/2009 16:07 | some sizeable buys just now | jamie62
13/1/2009 16:05 | Thanks Knowing, but it doesnt really answer the questions i have raised. Is it just me or is this one trading on a very unknown, but key issue and thus really a very speculative punt? On the one hand there are those that say the share price is now way too high suggesting the current offers are after the bank debt consolidation. Whereas there are others who claim it will be/should be anywhere between 8p and 20p, which i assume is on the basis the bank restructure does not go ahead and the whole company shares, asseets and debts are sold? | gazzastrip
13/1/2009 15:54 | A good starting point. | knowing
13/1/2009 15:52 | Ive been away and have lost touch with this one. So that i dont need to trawl through this thread and RNS`s can anyone answer the following fairly basic questions: - Has the proposed restructure of Bank debt already taken place? -As a shareholder shouldnt we have/will we get the chance to vote on this? -Are the bids that are being made at present for the company pre any deal with the banks, ie Schroders or whoever will buy the debt and the assets? -Or is it as has been recently posted, that the bids are for the company after the restructure and debt free? I am struggling to get my head around the last one as why on earth would the banks write off the debt and then sell so soon at a loss? Or am i missing something? Sorry if i am being a bit thick on this! | gazzastrip
13/1/2009 15:34 | Well trying for a push back over 4p | knowing
13/1/2009 14:24 | Vely vely nice CITY job here. And they say the THIRD WORLD is CORRUPT. | hvs
13/1/2009 13:43 | This interest had better come quick, as they will wrap up the sale otherwise. 2 weeks then its gone, and i'd hate it to go for a song. I realise that 110 million isn't quite a song, but people have been touting much higher figures... | duncancosgrove
13/1/2009 13:36 | I would like it to stay independant as in 2-3 years it will be back over a £ | knowing
13/1/2009 13:35 | i agree. i'm staying in on the basis that there is likley to be further interest from other fund managers. | jamie62
13/1/2009 13:03 | A poster on a BB says it's over valued where as a large fund manager says it's worth anything from 8-20p! Who do you believe? | knowing
13/1/2009 12:51 | I'm all out now as well. Good profit so can't complain. | ohsod1t
13/1/2009 12:33 | i had to sell..........the peak is over..... heres a reality check..... Mercier et Camier - 11 Jan'09 - 13:03 - 961 of 1076 I have no idea where you guys are getting your ridiculous valuation figures from. The bids being placed on the table are what is being offered to the banks not what is being offered to you. There is to be a 95% dilution of shareholders equity to clear the debts owed to the banks. So if a bid arrives for £115m as reported in the national press private shareholders equity in NSAM should be about £5.75m (£115m - 95%). The current market cap is £8m. So even at 2.8p the shares are almost 50% overvalued if NSAM is sold for £115m. Now there may be a slight rise tomorrow based on the weekend press but don't forget the shares are to be delisted shortly. If it rises tomorrow take advantage and sell!!. | maak128
13/1/2009 12:22 | Bad write up in today's Mail. | sprattyken

13/1/2009 08:52 | Hope your right. I bought at 2.7 and just sold my original stake at 4.5, and will let the profits stay in there. | ohsod1t
13/1/2009 08:33 | seem to be some profit takers, i am going to sit on my holding. Reckon we will get to 10p eventually | jamie62
13/1/2009 08:28 | That would be nice. | knowing
