morning troooooooooooooooooops!!

nice move up today. I think a little more up. I sold half position today, ie the whole lot I bought last week!!

As for the market, we either TANK or big move up.

I think this week is probably the most important week for markets, overall.

I havent yet gone bearish, but must admit, I am more barish today than I was 2 weeks ago. Overall, I still give this bool the benfit of the doubt. While the NFT index, the top 50 global company index, remains up, so do i.

Volatile - oh for sure. Mind you, Im locked in to oils and gold mainly with some special situations. Its going to be a trading year. Im just waiting on drilling news on my two biggest holdings (SIA and AEX) if they come in then my year is made. Even if SIA's E well is dud then Id expect6 the group to be sold for c £20-£25. If it comes in then £35plus.

Mind you, its hard not to pick up some of the beaten down, financially sound mid cap engineers etc. Look at KLR, CHTR, KIE etc for example. The rout in mid caps has surely been overdone in some areas.

I believe there s a chance we are running in a negative real rate environment. Russia has been for a while. i believe this may be supportive of equities.

I think this year will be volatile.

And to you. Mind you, as you know, Ive been gloomy for quite some time now. A rally inthe short term but I think that might be it, at least till much later in the year. Key will be the banking results in Feb.

Hey Darron, good to hear you!

To be honest, the bid could be anyone I think, so really don't know, private equity???? Those orders suggest something, but of course it may not ever be realised, which wouldnt suprise me for this stock. I do like the sector and thought the shares offer recovery. I like a lot of bio.

Are you going to retain these for now?

I am off today and just looking at doing a paramotiring course. It looks really good! Ideally want to do it in Switzerland in the mountains.

So who do you reckon re the bid? Id have thought someone like Mears and a private equity offer from someone who has interests in the sector like 3I?

Hmmm price has been recovering nicely, banking covs sorted

Today 4 trades for over 4% of the mkt cap and the price takes off - currently up 11% on 5m volume.

Me thinks that theres a bid on the way.

hummmm 5 million traded, thats a hefty volume. With the price heading south it is also a very bad sign. I must confess to have thought about adding recently. They will still make a profit and only need to re negotiate covenants with their banks. Something more nasty must be going on with not even the recent predators interested.
