I noticed that duplication in the announcement.

What concerns me is that whilst the company glorifies the "vast" experience of the two newcomers their roles are non-board roles. Why would clever and experienced people join a small AIM company that is not going anywhere? Isn't that a recipe for ruining one's career and reputation?
