Naked Wines Plc (the "Company")
Posting of Circular and Notice of General Meeting
Further to the Company's announcement on 2 August 2019, the Company announces that it has today posted a circular (the "Circular") to shareholders to convene the general meeting (the "General Meeting") to approve the proposed sale of Majestic Wine Warehouses Limited and Les Celliers de Calais S.A.S., which together comprise the Majestic Retail and Commercial businesses.
In addition, at the General Meeting, the Board will also be seeking authority from shareholders for the Company to purchase its own Ordinary Shares. Further information on the reasons for seeking such authority is included in the circular.
The General Meeting will be held at the offices of Allen & Overy LLP, One Bishops Square, London E1 6AD at 2.00 p.m. on 6 September 2019.
