04/3/2016 13:01 | If the expectation is for earnings to half, then there's little downside left and a lot of upside to come. | corrientes
04/3/2016 12:58 | At £2 share £91m mkt cap Already know profits for last year are £15.5m That's a current pe of 6. £3min fair value on what we currently know. Approx 21p divi for the year = 10.5% yield. Somethings Gotta give ?????? Normally I'd be sceptical about the divi, the market must be thinking that next years earnings are going to be substantially less. | wilk1
04/3/2016 12:13 | Sometimes 'Value' just stares you in the face. You just have to have the vision to see it. Hope Wilk1 has the vision. Personally I only rate NAH as a fair play, on which I think I bought at a fair price. | referencepoint
04/3/2016 12:11 | Yes, come on the Foxs in the absence of United winning it, we're all behind you !! | wilk1
04/3/2016 12:03 | reference point - Nice call about Leicester - I'm from Leicester and sincerely hope you're right! | imranawan
04/3/2016 11:59 | wilk1 good luck. I know exactly how you feel. I backed Leicester last November @ 1500/1 and 1000/1 for small money but stand to make over £12k if they win the league. Sometimes you just have to go with your gut feelings even though 'wise heads' around you say otherwise. However, the difference is that if I am wrong, I lose peanuts. I just hope you have given serious thought to how you would feel if NAH were to go belly up! If £50k to you is small beer, then again good luck. | referencepoint
04/3/2016 11:53 | Blue close anyone ? | wilk1
04/3/2016 11:25 | Yes I'm aware of that, I was expecting it coming good back to 270p ish long before now and have got a bit suckered in. It's all about the forward outlook I guess. I've revised my expectations down a bit and will need to take some off the table at 215/220 area. I'm hoping I'm right and the markets wrong about this for obvious reasons. | wilk1
04/3/2016 11:19 | Good luck Wilk1. I don't have a position myself but had NAH on the w/list. A note of caution Wilk1 - assuming the share price recovers I would strongly recommend reducing the size of your position to reduce risk. You might be a believer but having 66% of your p/folio in one stock is not a wise decision. You need diversification - for exactly times like this. I hold around 30 stocks - which is too many, but a comfortable number for me would be 20. If you do want to run a concentrated p/folio I would recommend a p/folio of 10 stocks to reduce risk. | imranawan
04/3/2016 11:13 | 2/3rds, it's crazy I know. But I'm a believer. There will be a 15p divi to come soon. £2k in its own right. | wilk1
04/3/2016 11:09 | That's brave. Good luck to you and everyone else here. | corrientes
04/3/2016 11:09 | That's one heck of a holding Wilk1 - out of interest what % of your p/folio does NAH now represent? | imranawan
04/3/2016 10:47 | Probably needed a shake, we may finish up yet ? Bought 650 extra, I have nearly £30k worth now. | wilk1
04/3/2016 10:37 | Difficult to take contrarian action against the crowd. However, bought 736 @ £1.95 and hope market will rise from here. Sorry for those weak sellers who lost money today. However, who knows in the long term who has actually made the right decision. | referencepoint
04/3/2016 10:22 | Especially below 2 squid. | wilk1
04/3/2016 09:59 | Hopefully 210 can hold ? I'm disappointed with the lack of buying interest here. FRP in same sector has rallied strongly. I'd add if I could but no spare funds. | wilk1
04/3/2016 09:48 | Any comments wilk1 ? can't say I like the pattern so close to results, but WTFDIK. | corrientes
01/3/2016 14:46 | Just get the feeling that a couple of AT buy trades at 218 might get this going today ? | wilk1
01/3/2016 14:45 | Another 1203 for me at 216.12. fully loaded now and ready for take off. | wilk1
01/3/2016 14:08 | Didn't see that 200,000 disposal . Hope you're right ! | corrientes
01/3/2016 11:41 | The day to day volumes are small. I'm thinking one of the insti's is dumping a few, there were 200,000 after the close last night, I was wondering if that was the last of them ? The 2297 at 216.12 was a further buy of mine trying to test the theory that a bit of buying may push it up. | wilk1
01/3/2016 11:25 | Most peculiar price movements considering its only three weeks to news, and for last couple of weeks or so, you'd get the impression that everyone is selling but in small amounts. Will never understand the significance. | corrientes
01/3/2016 10:55 | Tight spread at present for 5000 215.12-216.12 | wilk1
26/2/2016 15:09 | It must be the unknown 2016 that the market is worrying about. The company is, however, becoming increasingly diversified so I can't think that the initial 2016 profit forecast will be nearly as bad as the market seems to be anticipating. My bet is the worst that will happen is that on 22 March people initially latch on to the continuing uncertainty of what exactly the Government plans to do, but when any emotive reaction quietens down (again, but on a much reduced scale this time) and a qualitative judgement made, combined with the cushion of a still juicy dividend in this cash generative business, better heads will prevail. Therefore I believe that there is every possibility that any surprise will be on the upside since it all seems to be negative at the moment with no real interest here. | corrientes |
