I think you are underestimating the value of the 'hand holding' and business support.

Anyway, the numbers bear out the fact that many people are interested in taking a franchise from MYH at these prices.

Most people would see £25k as a small price to pay to get started in business. Especially those with no experience.

I expect to see see strong sign ups this year as people are made redundant and consider 'going it alone'.

We shall see.

MYH have been busy at quite a few trade shows this spring/summer. Hopefully we will have some good sign ups.

Thanks for the post GS. I still fail to see £29k (+ expected £10k additional start costs btw) as value for money. Household name ? I don't think you need to buy that in this industry. Plus, I never heard of them until I posted on here a week or two ago thanks to "Love it".

For £29k I'll set you up. Back office, equipment, vehicle, advertising, training, CRB police check. It must work otherwise they wouldn't do it, it's just not for me through them.

I have set up a couple of businesses and know the pitfalls etc... so maybe I am not the best judge.

In fact I have two excellent cleaners do my place and I cannot for the life of me see why they don't expand....I might set up "YourHome" with them :-)))

You get much more for your £25k than you state. You get the full backing of the company who effectively partners with you to ensure that you get your enterprise off the ground.

Many people who buy franchises are new to self employment. Often they are very capable people, but from an employment background. They know little about the pitfalls of setting up your own business, staffing, marketing, taxation, VAT, employment law. In fact there are a lot of pitfalls.

MYH will walk you through all of this and fastrack you to success.

By year two, most people will probably find that the £25k paid has been dwarfed due to the fact that they got off to such a rapid start.

Also, by taking up the brand you have all the benefits of brand awareness. In 10 years time MYH will probably be a household name, This helps people establish a long term gorwth business.
