07/6/2011 12:20 | Salam guys....thankyou for your thoughts on dreaming.....lol if anyone was under the illusion that trading/investing in shares was easy then the last day or two is defo. a wake up call....but although the stock price has gone down one thing i would like to point out i had never said i made money when it was 70p as to me you only do that when you sell and chrystalise the monies (and ive never counted the chickens before they have hatched). Since yesterday i have had a lot of people telling me there two pence worth AND telling me the obvious that i should of sold at 70p. but these were the same people that were telling me to sell at 20/30/40/50p/60p. It is infuriating when you get a call from someone spreading salt on your wounds.. but hey that the world we live in. NOW ive got that of my chest lets move on..AND BY THE WAY PLEASE DONT BE OFFENDED OR SHOULD I SAY REOFFEND... COMMON BAO GET A MOVE ON NEED TO CLOSE MY POSITIONS ILL EVEN BE HAPPY WITH BAO BEING 40P. WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY OR TWO MAKES ON YOUR OUTLOOK. | haroonm
07/6/2011 08:09 | hahahaha sorry mitu im spare today not a single 5 rounders turn this week | azhardar
07/6/2011 01:25 | stil awake dhar? just got home, doing my 5 rounders. well sea is in a good position now, no debt, cash 30+ mil. good for long term. | m1tu
06/6/2011 21:42 | dhar where are you? maybe you should get into sea for the 5th time. | m1tu
06/6/2011 21:41 | i beleive sea is in better position now, they had to sell, debtors were waiting for their money, if the sale didnt go through then sea could have gone into administration, buyer probably knows sea is in desperate situation and offered them low as possible. its a new begining now for sea, at least they wont have cash problem. im in at 39p, their should be a correction 15-20% up to around 45p. | m1tu
06/6/2011 19:50 | Its been a tough day today the following post written by cyberpost on the sea thread explains it quite well. just to add my two pence worth: the company is debt free and cash per share of 42.1p, plus a further 4.9p per share in the value of the LOGP holding (at todays closing market cap) making 47p minimum plus the other assets. Hopefully that should underpin the share price until they can get some contracts signed... AS ALWAYS DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. I'm still here and still holding. We got carried away with the valuations (I had a conservative estimate at the start : £20m). However, without this sale, SEA would have been no more. It's all very good contemplating what could have been if the sale would have fetched £80m, £90m, £100m etc. One has to remember developing these assets was not a matter of millions but requiring billions. If this sale had fallen through, then as mentioned previously, you could bet your bottom dollar our creditors would have forced us into administration. This is the flip side of the disappointment of not fetching a sale price of 3 digit millions. £30m in the bank in the current market climate is no small thing. There are so many blue sky companies out there with mighty valuations but have little in the way of tangible assets. SEA is capped at below their cash level. If the management has turned £8m into £40m in a matter of 3 years then that is not something to scoff at. So I am sure they can utilise that cash to create value of at least £100m (if not more) in the next 12 to 18 months. Whatever the aspirations of holders, my view is that so far the management have more or less delivered on their promises. I also hold the view that things are happening in the company related to other ventures which we will know about very soon. I certainly understand the disappointment many have expressed - however the reality is, we are where we are - and £30m is certainly better than an RNS saying "shares have been suspended pending clarification of it's financial position"....... £30m opens a lot of doors to deliver value. The leverage is enormous in opening so many business doors. I am quite sure after the dust has settled and traders have left the room - the share will regain some of the losses and news from the company will propel them further. The company is in a completely different position, much much healthier financially and experience wise. With various initiatives to look forward to in the near term, like LOGP, Monte and medium term wrt SeaEnergy Marines, COSCO etc and any others which have yet to know about - I am content to hold for the foreseeable future. | haroonm

06/6/2011 08:48 | but guys the management has not delivered on our high expectation.. they have got 38mil. out of nothing.. the problem lies with people like me who think an asset is worth more than it is... at 40p market cap is 28million they have 38mil cash..well overdone as the only people who are selling are traders who do not understand or had high expectation.. how can they be crooks they never said serl was worth 150mil it was us who had flawed reserch.. i still think the city will look at this and say 38mil cash in 3 years WOW.. give it time it will be over 50p again..all ive got today is people telling me i should of sold at 70p...hignsight is beautiful is it not if only i did then my portfollio would not be down 40%. munaf dont panic sit back and let the dust settle...should get further update and mkt will price the true value in a few days...i know it would of been nice if it went to £1 but thats the way it goes... | haroonm

06/6/2011 08:22 | what the heck just looked at sea what happened too it. for the first time i thought it will meet every one expectations but it repeated its history and proved that its a dog. sorry guys. those are lucky who sold at above 70p.... they bloody took ages and got only 38 millions ...crooks | azhardar
06/6/2011 07:37 | is it best to sell and get what you can or are you going to hold on and see where the company is going next. | munaf26

03/6/2011 19:38 | Changed my mind about opening a position in ggg as ive got to many open at the moment. ill look into it next week... Just hit the top spot in the advfn (ABCD THREAD) compitition...well chuffed. | haroonm
03/6/2011 09:30 | GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE.....believe it or not i was looking at ggg last night and early this morning looking to get into a small gold company that is undervalued. Well done for getting in i should join you probably in the afternoon after i close a few open positions however depends on the general mkt. i think if all goes well i would like to hold for the longer term as they going through a merger should have more detail around the 20th june. as for the general mkt... you might be aware of storm clouds which have been brewing and fear has returned most notebly the us mkt, the talk about default. now if that happens then people might need to have your spare chaddies to hand. | haroonm

01/6/2011 16:45 | a good recovery towards the end but slightly dissapointed it did not break 39-40p.. well hopefully it will over the next day or two. | haroonm |
