Directorate Change - Non-Executive Director Appointment

MXC (AIM: MXCP), the technology focused adviser and investor, is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Freer as Non-executive Director, effective immediately.

Simon has over 20 years' experience operating and investing in technology, media and telecoms companies. He is currently Chief Commercial Officer of Liberty Global Content Investments through which he sits on the board of a number of investee companies. Simon is Chairman of Hong Kong based Formula E Holdings and (as disclosed below) is Non-Executive Director of the holding companies of UK media groups All3media and Constructive Media respectively.

Simon previously led the Technology, Media and Telecoms sector team at 3i and was responsible for setting investment strategy, origination, deal execution and portfolio management. Simon started his career as a strategy management consultant at Arthur Andersen.
