For once I agree with Chimers. This could halve and still not be attractive. 16.8 million loss. Huge number. Wonder when more cash from shareholders is needed as banking operations not getting the large fee income it expected.

I'm in for some more this week after this report.
We seem to have stabilised at a certain level and there could be good opportunities for a 10%+ improvement over the 1/2 year.

These buy-backs, based on the volume involved, are nothing but token gestures.
The only good News this Business needs to publish should relate directly to positive returns on Investments in other Businesses.
The MV & share price are down because at least one such Investment has taken a nose dive... that's not to say however that the Business's strategy might not still produce a reasonable Profit this or any near-future Quarter... time will tell...

In fairness to Mxcp holders, I think it best that you restrict your particular bitterness towards Ctp shareholders to the Ctp board, though it may be that all constructive comment on Mxc and its portfolio would be welcomed here.
That would at least afford the opportunity for you to get behind what you're in, and denigrate your choice of the others, whilst other posters can look at the overall facts.

There will be a time to buy this one again I have not one single doubt.
But that time aint today.

If you like I will give you the nod!!
But dont expect it any time soon.
They need to know the coast is clear before they climb out of the bunker and that aint happening any time soon.
Lets hope they dont shoot themselves in the foot meantime.
Now if only they could offload CTP to a mu..............I mean willing foo.........I mean company then they might be able to start burying the past.
They dont want to be invested in "minnows" anymore.
We know this because they TOLD US using .............."WORDS"
Only a matter of time imo but its time you dont have and a lowballer will cinch it.
In my very humble opinion of course.(based on knowing what im talking about)
